Gillaspie House Museum is a house built in 1906 by newlyweds Dr. Carbon and Grace Gilaspie. Dr. Gillaspie was a local doctor, pharmacist and banker. The family moved after son John was born but continued to use the house in summers. Gillaspie House is now run by the Nederland Area Historical Society and is filled with artifacts, furnishings and clothing from 1900 to about 1950.
