Our family were patients of Dr. Gilroy for thirteen years when we lived in Overland Park before relocating to Florida. Last week we were on vacation, and I needed a tooth looked at that was giving me problems. The team there worked me into their schedule and treated me like family like they always did. Having moved eighteen times, we can attest to the fact that Gilroy Dental Care is the best dental practice we have seen. They embrace customer service, treat you like family and are trustworthy. You simply won't meet a better practice of positive professionals and a team that cares about you than them. Gilroy Dental Care is the gold standard. My teeth were bad! Really bad. Teeth that I had left we’re either broken or severely decayed. I have been going from dentist to dentist for years just pretty much doing damage control when I had pain. New to the Kansas City area a coworker referred me to Gilroy Dentistry because I had so much pain I couldn’t get through the rest of the day. I called and Dr. Geha worked me in. He decided that I had one last wisdom tooth remaining that was severely infected and needed to be pulled. So he did. Then it got personal. Dr. Geha asked what my plan was for my dental situation moving forward. And I said just yank them and dentures. It was the only thing I could see in my future. Many in my family did the same before me. After my comment, Dr. Geha looked at me, more as a person or a friend then a patient, and gave me a sincere answer. An answer that I wasn’t expecting. That he thought he could save them. And get me healthy again. He scheduled me two weeks later to come back for a full assessment. After many x-rays and evaluation, He explained a plan to save them and give me a whole new smile. Immediately thought in the back of my mind, yeah right, this is gonna cost a fortune. And I responded out loud. Then Dr. Geha asked, how much is your health worth? And I hadn’t really thought about that before. But I knew what he meant, he didn’t just think about my physical health and how the infection in my mouth was spreading all over and making me feel sick. He was concerned about my mental health as well and lack of confidence and the embarrassment I had from having such a terrible smile. Nonetheless, I work in sales. Dr. Geha then said I’m going to lay out a plan and schedule me back in two weeks and we are going to have a consult to go through the plan. Right then I knew my life was going to change. No other dentist I had seen over the past decade has ever asked these questions or offered a plan. So I came back. I was called to a conference room where the office manager, Dr.Geha, and Dental assistant Taylor met with me and went through the plan. Tears came over me, As they are now while I write this. They had a printed report, it was at least four pages, laying out every, root canal, extraction, crown, And other work I would need to renew my health and get my confident smile back. Along with the payment plan as to how we could make it work. More tears. It made sense to me. And we decided as a team that we could do it. And we did. As I sit today after about six months of 3 to 4 hour appointments two times a month you can see the difference by these pictures of how my smile and life has changed. My four kids notice my renewed confidence and complement me on my amazing teeth often. My coworkers notice, and I smile much more for my customers which in turn makes them smile. Dr. Geha, I can’t thank you enough. Your professionalism, expertise, bedside manner, patience, and true heartfelt love and care that you showed me through this transformation is above this world. Truly angelic. And I can’t thank you enough. Same with Taylor and the other dental assistants along the way. I am forever in your debt and thank you so much.
Amazing dental office! Dr. Gilroy and his son are excellent dentists. The entire staff is very friendly. I used to despise going to the dentist, but this office takes every single step to make sure your comfortable. Its also really nice to watch whatever you want on your personal TV right in front of your chair!
They were extremely efficient with the time, info gathering and the actual cleaning also. Myself and my children are long time patients, plus my two grandchildren are now also patients. All are very pleased with their services. I would recommend them to any individuals or families looking for a good group of family dentists.
I’m from out of state visiting family. I had an implant/crown come loose. I called the office and was greeted with a very helpful receptionist that scheduled me an appointment in about a week. Dr. Gilroy was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail using the X-rays that were taken. The diagnosis was discovered quickly and Dr. Gilroy tighten the crown successfully. Everyone was very courteous and professional. I would recommend Dr. Gilroy to all seeking a qualified dentist.
I went to Gilroy dental for a second opinion on some extensive dental work I am needing to get done. I am so happy I went to to them, Dr. Geha not only explained all of the options I had but also explained to me what and why the work needed to be done. The dental hygienist was amazing as well. I am not sure a lot of people get excited about getting dental work done, but I am because I know they will take great care of me!
Went for cleaning today. Dental hygienist scraped my teeth good and gave some good tips on taking care of receding gum. I Wes surprised that she did not do ultrasound cleaning. I didn’t know it’s optional since, every time I went for cleaning I got ultrasonic cleaning, scraping, polishing and flossing. Would have appreciated if I was asked before she decided I do not need one. I was recommended by my dentist for more frequent cleaning due to my periodontal issues.
Gilroy is awesome. I texted them on a Thursday night that a filling came out and she told me she would get me scheduled first thing the following Tuesday holiday weekend. 7:58am Tuesday morning I receive a phone call to get my appointment set up, 4 days later, and after a holiday. That's some damn good customer service.
I love going to Dr Gilroy’s dental practice. I called Monday morning since I had been struggling with dental pain pain all weekend. They got me in that morning and I saw Dr Geha. He was Awesome! Turns out it wasn’t my teeth that was the problem, I Had a large cold sore that was infected and that is the reason I was in so much pain. Dr Geha called me tonight to see how I was doing and to make sure I had received medical care. Thank you Dr Geha for you concern!!! Everyone at Dr Gilroy office is very professional and friendly. Thank you to the office manager for getting me in so quickly today.
I went here today as a new patient. Everyone was so friendly! I really enjoyed chatting with Mary, the dental hygienist. She did a very thorough job on my teeth too. Dr. Geha Joe, as he introduced himself was also very friendly and took the time to talk through my xrays and a plan moving forward. I was very pleased with this office.
