Gladwin is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,933 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Gladwin County. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.1% of the population.There were 1,261 households of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 34.4% were married couples living together, 15.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 46.1% were non-families. 42.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.19 and the average family size was 2.96.
