Home Glass Services

Glass windows and other fixtures in the home may be able to be repaired if they are etched or scratched. Repairs depend upon the depth, length and type of scratch. Cracked or chipped glass in single panes can be replaced, as opposed to replacing the entire window or door. Glass Doctor can replace any glass except glass a person wears or drinks from, including:
• Single pane windows, including energy efficient, insulated glass for low
energy emissions (low-E)
• Low-maintenance glass

• Decorative glass panels (in cabinetry, for example)

The Glass Doctor Advantage Plan is an optional fee service that gives program customers priority when emergencies arise. Advantage Plan members save 15 percent on all future repairs for home and auto. Any glass replaced in the home of an Advantage Plan member is guaranteed against breakage for the term of the membership purchased (this excludes breakage from natural disasters). Advantage Plan members have a personalized file with home glass inspection results. Commercial glass and damage from acts of God are excluded from the Advantage Plan.

Automotive Glass Services

Glass Doctor can repair most chips and scratches in windshield glass. Glass Doctor Franchises use Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) windshield glass and offer the G12 windshield replacement guarantee. Glass Doctor can replace all windshield, window glass, and mirrors in the following vehicles:
• Cars

• Buses

• Tractor-trailers

G12 is a 12-month guarantee on windshield replacement available at most Glass Doctor Franchise locations. If an OEM replacement windshield that a Glass Doctor franchise has installed is damaged or broken within (12) months of the replacement date, Glass Doctor will repair or replace the windshield glass only at no additional charge to the customer. This guarantee is redeemable one time and does not include: labor, kit, moldings or clips. All G12 claims must be reported to the original installation center before the expiration date of the guarantee. Service on the vehicle under G12 coverage must be performed at a Glass Doctor physical shop location. G12 is not available for RVs and Motor coaches, or commercial vehicles having a GVW more than one ton. Coverage is limited to normal road hazards. Damage due to collision, intentional acts, fraud or acts of God is excluded from the G12 guarantee.

Dropped in around 10am today for a chip repair and fairly certain I was helped out by Steven! I had called the day prior and they had availability next morning so that was a great turn around. I had my roommate follow me because I wasn’t sure how long it would take and intended to leave and come back. I ended up sending them home because it took the glass doctor just under 15 minutes to fix the chip and I watched and chatted with him while he did it. Got my windshield here 6 years ago and have had 2 chips repaired by the shop since. I got my first major chip repaired about 2 years ago here and the crack hasn’t spread. Can’t recommend enough for timely, friendly, and affordable service.
In terms of the windshield exchange itself we were very happy with glass doctor- they could accept us the next day when a few places had already told us that it would take 10 days for our windshield to come in, they switched our windshield quickly and did the job well. The only negative is that when we arrived, we asked if we could watch the switch, to which we were told that we could, from the office. Then once we came back to the area especially to watch the switch, they told us that we could not watch them work. We would have been disappointed but understood if we were told in the first place, but don't tell us that we can watch and then once we come back tell us that we can't!
Ordered a frameless shower door in April 2022. Finally completely installed in July. Supply chain issues were the main culprit. I had to re-caulk a portion of the solid portion of the door, but other than that, I love the door install. It's very functional. My real complaint is the lack of communication. Texts and phone calls are slow to respond to. After speaking with Chris this week, I changed my review to 4 stars.
I was more than happy with my experience at Glass Doctor of Missoula. Steven was friendly, helpful, and professional. Their rates are very competitive. I paid almost half of what Safelite wanted to charge and for higher quality glass no doubt. I dropped my car off at 8:00 and he was done before 10:00. Hopefully I'll never need their services again, but if so, I'll definitely go back. Highly recommended.
I took my car to Steven for the first time last week after noticing some potential chips in the front windshield. He was so knowledgable and friendly it was a great experience. Steven has extensive knowledge with windows as he has been doing this since he graduated college. He answers his phone personally, which was a relief as nothing is more irritating than having questions and having to press 1 or 2 then being told to go to the website. If this sounds familiar then you probably made the mistake of calling Safelite too. Unlike Safelite, Steven is local, doesn't try upselling you insurance, and sees you as a person and not a dollar bill. There's no question where to take your car or any glass fixups you may need! He makes it easy to get in, has a sense of urgency, and is a nice guy.
I worked with Steven in July regarding replacing 2 awning windows and 2 garage door glass panes. We ordered the windows on 7/23/20. When we last spoke on 7/30/20, he stated he would stop by the following week to install the garage door glass panes, and that the 2 awning windows should be ready by mid-August. As of 8/25/20, the garage panes have not been replaced, and I have yet to receive any callback or follow up regarding the window and glass pane installation. Over the past 3 weeks, I have contacted Glass doctor 7 times by phone, and once by email, leaving messages each time with either Kevin or John requesting a follow up regarding the window installation. My last phone conversation was on 8/21/20 with John, and he stated he would have someone follow up with me by the end of the business day. It is now 8/25/20, and I have yet to receive any callback or follow up from this company regarding the window installation. I will update this review if I get any response from this company. What a frustrating and disappointing experience it has been so far! **Review update I went to the Glass Doctor shop in person 1 week after writing this review. I spoke with Steven, who was able to schedule an appointment to get the windows installed. He said had been out of town the past week, which was why no one from the company got back to me. The installation went OK and so far the windows are working fine. This could've been a 5 star review if there'd been any communication from the company prior to my visiting the shop in person.
