DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I bought a house that had broken seals in a few windows, found during the inspection. The previous owner of the house had paid the Glass Doctor to come fix them before I moved in. When I moved in, there was still 1 window that still needed fixing, because they made up an excuse to not finish the job, saying they broke the window, and needed to reorder it. Funny thing is, they were fixing seals, NOT replacing the window. When I moved into the house, I repeatedly called over and over for them to finish the job the previous owner had paid for, and either got no follow up call back, or they said they were coming and never showed, or other excuses over and over. After many months, I gave up trying. If you want to throw your money away, call this company, otherwise, search for another glass company.
SCAM, Paul is the phone guy whom does the scheduling, and whomever came to do an estimate says Erick on the receipt spent 20 minutes doing a basic measurement took 50% up front. Gave a receipt and then never followed up with me. As I called to follow up, they kept delaying service. They promised to be here today but now their company phone number doesn’t work and hasn’t been working all this week.
Writing a review anyway as this Naperville-Glass Doctor franchise now appears to be shut down with the owner Paul Litten terminated for scamming customers myself/senior citizen & vendors per the Waco, TX corporate office for Glass Doctor. The corporate company was unwilling to compensate me for paying upfront on a window replacement for my home done & received by Paul Litten who cashed at his personal bank located at Morton, IL about a month ago. I would advise anyone to stay away from using Paul Litten or any Glass Doctor business for future needs.
Is there a way to give negative stars? Talk about incompetence. They cancelled on me twice. They won't allow me to get my money back. Trust me when I say this there are a lot more competent glass companies out there. Do yourself a favor and don't use these people. I just hope State Farm comes to their senses and stops doing business with these IDIOTS!
We contracted them over a year ago with a project to replace 3 windows and replace or fix stuck hardware on many other windows. We have had continually experienced no shows, showing up without materials, coming with only a few pieces, 4 times came out with wrong size windows, broke 4 windows and finally will not even respond. I tried so hard to not complain , its 13 months later. I have to have another company come and fix the windows now.
Terrible company to do business with. We ended up waiting months for our windows and then one had a fish eye defect they didn't notice in a large picture window that they installed. The other door window which was installed incorrectly cracked and now they won't return my messages to replace it. Nice people, but don't know what they are doing.
Terrible business, I’m STILL dealing with them right now. They don’t respect your time. Also had to delay the process longer due to them ordering the wrong window, only to order the wrong window the second time and installed it. Now no one is answering my calls or texts, Awh I also don’t have my screens for 2 windows. I want the window I asked for, the one they installed is wrong. Lines in the window doesn’t lineup with my window inserts, so it’s random lines in my window.
Fraud!!!!! Took deposit and never showed up or called back to install. PAULowner said Grays Lake bought them out, will finish job. False! Called corporate and filed a complaint. The informed me that Paul scammed many people. Will find out last name and post update!!!!!!! POS UPDATE: PAUL SANZA - Sanza Group LLC
Paul & Glass Doctor office is not picking up the phone. What is it that we as a consumer can do ? He has taken the deposit for a window replacement but not completed the job. He was responding till late July but not anymore.
We have used Glass Doctors for two years now to clean our large conference room table glass surface. We are very happy with the results and the service they provide.
