I absolutely love this park. The trail is great, the water is beautiful, the playground is nice. If I have anything negative it would be that I wish they could get rid of the water moccasins. I'm not sure there's much to be done about that, though. They always have great family activities. It's just a great park.
I was told that this was a good place to take children fishing. The lake was pretty much algae free. But, all that I saw was dozens of fingerling, and a few small bluegill. After talking with other anglers, I have concluded that this is not a place to take antsy children fishing.
Very nice park. It has a good walking trail a lake and benches for quiet meditation and a couple nice playgrounds for kids.
Peaceful, well maintained park in Godfrey. A little fishing for the kids, lots of scattered picnic tables, as well as pavilions and a great playground for the kids. A must visit !!
I went for the great godfrey maze and stayed for the lake with tons of good viewing benches
Beautiful place. The kids love the playground and taking their scooters and bikes on the trail around the water. Lots of places for families to spread out and social distance.
Nice big park and had good fireworks for the fourth of July
Great Place to take the kids! You can fish, walk the path, practice sports with all the room, picnic, enjoy the playground, animals are Welcome. Just an Very Inviting, Safe, Clean Atmosphere. Restrooms also available. Love The Nature Path. We have seen Baby Deer and other wildlife out there from time to time.
Nice park with paved walking/biking path, about 7/8 of a mile all the way around. Public restrooms, a large pond for fishing and several soccer fields. Corn maze in the fall is a lot of fun. During that time, they have hayrides and other activities for kids and kids at heart.
Took my Granddaughter to the park on the first day of spring, had a great time teaching her to ride her bike w/o the training wheels. We enjoyed the scenery and the weather. Good family fun.
