I’ve lived at Glen park couple months now and so far it’s been great. Katie at the leasing office made my application and move in process very easy. I had two maintenance request which they completed within hours of each one. One of them they completed on a Sunday! Very surprising after reading some of the reviews. They were so friendly and polite. All my appliances work. Great amenities. My apartment is very spacious compared to other places I toured. My neighbors are quiet. I enjoy the valet trash service but like some reviews say they do hit and miss a night. But the trash service is Alley Waste. Hopefully my experience here continues to be positive!
I moved out 3 years ago and pay all my bills in time, and after 3 years they reported me to the collection company saying I didn’t pay my move out bill , i called them and asking what going on and the say they don’t have in systems my payment and asking for proof off payment…. After 3 years i don’t have any proof off payment and they didn’t give us any receipt….also they say you are not the first one who call with the same problem… alright if I don’t pay..but what about the rest off the people? Nobody pay or what? Be careful everyone
Hello....about two weeks after moving in I was waiting on Fed Ex to deliver my bedroom set, the app was saying delivered but I had no package at all...I panicked and went to the office to let them know what happened, immediately the Asst Manager notified the grounds keeper Michael, within 20 minutes he came to my home with my package......come to find out FED EX delivered it to the wrong apartment building, Michael found it and I got it safely, The office staff was really helpful and had my back and made sure I got my package back. Thank you so much!!!!
Management is terrible, Elena gave random tenants our apartment number, admitted it all while her boss Jessica denied it. A woman got shot and killed the year we moved out. Bugs in the summer, fly ants, and red ant infestation. The very first day we moved into our apartment pipes busted and grey water flooded our dining room table. They tried saying we were the ones to of over used the pipes after being there 5 hrs....umm what!? And we had to pressure them to bring on professionals to clean the nasty water. I would give negative stars if I could. Please tell your friends.
Lived here for about 3 years and finally decided I’m not resigning my lease. From day one the ground is lumpy throughout the entire apartment, the paint and appliances are in awful condition. The carpet has exposed carpet staples. Maintenance request? JOKE! Not even 2 months into living there, a water pipe from my up stairs neighbors burst and caused it to leak into my kitchen, had a massive hole in my ceiling for MONTHS. They would not respond! Cracks in my bathtub, never fixed! Never even responded to the MULTIPLE messages I sent about my broken refrigerator. Only 2 burners on my stove work. And to top it all off, I get a call from my girlfriend while I am at work, telling me my truck is missing. I called the cops thinking it was stolen, turns out, the APARTMENT STAFF TOWED MY TRUCK when I PAY FOR MY PARKING SPOT, it comes out of my rent every month! I called and told them that I was charged $566 to retrieve my truck, she said I had to have a pass I was NEVER GIVEN OR WARNED ABOUT! When I called them I said I was never even warned or told, she said she didn’t have to warn us, it’s posted everywhere so they have the right to tow. Someone was home! They didn’t even knock to tell us! I’ve parked there for YEARS! I’ve had my truck broken into here. I’m forced to pay for “garbage pick up” that is never consistent and billed even if I don’t use it. Packages stolen daily. Every person I’ve talked to who lives here hates it and complains of the same issues! This place is a money pit, they will take every dollar they can from you. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a racket going on with the towing company, they had my truck under 6 hours and it’s only 8 minutes from the complex, how does that amount to $566? STAY AWAY!
I've called this place home for a few years now. I'd have rated it at least 3 star for safety, quiet neighborhood, great amenities and relatively clean community. But some of our apartments are falling apart and have not been updated in years. Moreso, the slow pace and lack of responsiveness of the maintenance team is rather ridiculous. Having a work order in progress for 2 months while being told it's not an emergency, or we'll get to it when we can is a disservice to a rent paying resident. Aren't there service level agreements in place to measure their efficiency? Management too not taking ownership of the issue nor being apologetic for the delay is the reason for my 1star. And this is not the 1st time this has happened to us. At this rate i have to do the work myself, and no they're not going to be able to give me a credit to my rent nor be liable if it gets damaged in the process. Ridiculous!!!
Came in today and met the nicest staff! Now I read the reviews, and it does make me a little apprehensive about applying but we are gonna see how it goes. People complain about a lot and nobody is perfect. Thank God I have a handyman for a husband. Update: Honey if you have a maintenance request DONOT LOOK FOR IT TO GET FIXED! We have a leaking garbage disposal and since moving in and I filed a request March 9th amd they never came and fixed it... If the maintenance can't handle the work load them yall need to get somebody to do it. The three stars are for the office staff. Update 2: Finally got it fixed today!
So far I’m giving it a two star I recently applied to move in a couple weeks ago and still haven’t heard back if I was approved will give update later on UPDATE: now they’re are saying they’re still waiting to hear back from the regional manager and all of a sudden I don’t income qualify so I’ve decided to pull my application I wouldn’t recommend applying here the reviews on here are certainly true
There is nothing Luxury about these apartments. In unit 48B1 when walking up the stairs the steps are broken and also walking in between the 2 bedrooms the floor is also broken. This was noted upon my move In but never fixed. After the second day in our new spot, the shelving in the spare bedroom closet had fallen. So after contacting the office and a few failed maintenance request, my cloths sat on my bed for the next 5 months before they finally came to repair it. Now maybe a year later my washer was leaving my clothes soaking wet. Once again contacting the office and was told that everyone is having problems with their washers but they would put a maintenance request to have them come fix it. Well needless to say 7 months had passed by and I was at the end of my lease with still no maintenance to fix the washer. 3 months before we moved the refrigerator was going out, by not freezing food in the freezer and the food was just cold enough in the fridge. At this point I felt it was best not to contact the office or make a maintenance request for it would not get fixed. So whomever you are please do not respond to me and tell me to contact your office to try and resolve any of my concerns. You had 2 years to resolve my concerns and FAILED miserably. On a good note, Fale was by far your best leasing agent hands down. It was a very sad day for Glen Park when she moved on. She definitely deserves 5 stars
I lived at this place for about a year and overall the place is ok…. A select few of the leasing office employees were nice, and very helpful. The rest were rude and really didn’t know how to talk to people respectfully, especially on the community wall of residence portal. The recreational center had been closed before I moved in and was turned into the maintenance bay, I wasn’t told that when I first toured the apartments. This disappointed me on move in day. The trash service sucks. They constantly missed my door even after calling the business as well as the leasing office. But no matter how many times they missed my trash I still had to pay for that month. The community is supposed to be non smoking but cigarettes were constantly found in front of my door or in my walk way. My neighbor on the top floor loved sharing cigarettes and talking to the maintenance workers while they were on break. Which seemed like they were most of the day. Most of the pot holes were in the process of being covered and a lot of changes were happening at the time of my move so hopefully things look better outside. Though cigarette buds will probably still be everywhere. I hope the best for those who move here. And no I don’t want to contact you for any reason Thank you, Cornell
