I want to give this place a great review...I really do. My sister Amy was here in November-December 2019, and she really seemed to like the place. I have a very fond memory of visiting her while she was at Glenbeigh, and feeling so excited and hopeful that this was the beginning of a new life for her. She looked so happy and healthy. But I had to give them 3 stars because within days, DAYS of being discharged, she was using heroin again. She basically left and went right back to the dope. It was devastating to our entire family, and we were left feeling completely hopeless. Now I know sobriety is ultimately up to the individual, but for someone to relapse 2 days after leaving, the treatment was not effective at all. Amy can't write this review because she died of an overdose on September 20, 2022.

Everything about this place is great. John Fioritto was my counselor and he was fantastic. They really work hard to create a patient culture that is very supportive. Almost all of the staff has personal experience with recovery, and unlike most treatment centers they actually tailor the experience to the needs of the patient. I attended one other rehab, Caron Pennsylvania in 2014, where the therapy was pretty much limited to telling the patient, "that's just your addiction talking", whenever the patient raised a legitimate concern. There was none of that at Glenbeigh. They focused on past traumas as well as changing bad habits, and created an environment in which patients could be comfortable sharing their darkest personal secrets in group. My girlfriend attended 15 other rehabs before coming to Glenbeigh, and has now been clean for 7 years. The place was so great that many of my fellow patients had aspirations of working there themselves once they attained the required 15 months of sobriety, even though to do so would require them to quit smoking cigarettes, a tough ask for any addict. I really can't recommend this place enough.
They will detox you and generally care. But it can be a very hostile environment stemming from a lot of the staff. Food sucks. I feel like if you’re paying over 10k for for three weeks the amenities should be a lot better.
This was by far the best inpatient rehab I've been to. I've been to 5 other treatment centers before glenbeigh and this place blew the others out of the water. There is not a bad thing about this place. All of the counselors have been through addiction so they know what we were going through. Very caring and was there to provide the patients with the right tools and treatment for when they leave inpatient care. If I could have stayed longer I would have. Jimmy was my counselor and I couldn't of asked for a better understanding,passionate,caring and funny person. Food was awesome always aloud seconds and anytime you wanted a snack food was available. Also the fitness center was awesome if you wanted you could work out 3 times a day. Nothing but positive from Glenbeigh. If you or a loved one is looking for a treatment center this one is the place to go. Thank you Gleinbeigh and all who work there.
Glenbeigh rehab Center saved my life, and when I say it saved my life I mean it saved my life. The most responsible, professional, amazing and caring staff that you can imagine. My counselor did not give up on me, not one single bit. 30 months clean and sober Thank you Glenbeigh
All I can say is that Glenbeigh is AMAZING AND THEY SAVED MY LIFE. Please go here if you really want to get clean. They go above and beyond. They were my 6th facility and my last. I have been clean since leaving.
Glenbeigh is a very helpful, caring place. I was very reluctant to open up to the program at first, but the counselors and staff were very patient and kind. Glenbeigh helped me more than I expected and more than they know. I appreciate them so much. The food is really good and they treat the patients with love and respect. It’s rare to find a facility where the staff can relate to you and are the ones lecturing and teaching the groups. I learned so much at Glenbeigh. There are so many things that one can do SOBER and Glenbeigh teaches you that and also has activities that you can do to prove that. I learned a lot about myself and also my mental and physical health at Glenbeigh. I just came back home from Glenbeigh on 5.16.2022 and I just want to say thank you to all the staff at Glenbeigh down to the cleaning ladies. You all are amazing. Shout out to Mary Bento…you drove me crazy. But you taught me a lot. Thank you so much.
I would recommend this facility to anyone needing to save their lives. It saved mine. I was there in the winter and I came without a winter coat. One of the staff personally bought me a winter coat. Although when someone really wants to save their life it could be done Any where you are I was very pleased with the staff, the facility, and the amenities. I've been sober for almost 3 yrs now. I was going down a dark road that would have eventually led to my death, Heroin took everything from me. I was scared at first but after the first few days I started to become myself again. Not the addict the person before the drugs but even better, you honestly feel reborn. Kinda sounds corny but it was amazing. Thank you to all the staff at Glenbeigh im gonna be 5 years clean in November
