Glencoe Public Library

Great Library! The adult area looks beautiful. The kids area has lots of books, a train table, and a Lego table.

A great library that is always active and is made for all ages. Very busy during after-school hours. The staff are very knowledgeable about books and stuff related. The 6-station LAN center is great for kids in town to socialize. There are wonderful places to study all around the building.

A smaller library, which is to be expected for a village of ~8k. In my opinion, this is the most family-friendly library I've ever visited and this is due in large part to the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've probably been here a few dozen times with and without my children. When COVID hit they changed their policies and layouts to be still very usable and safe despite the added restrictions. A true gem!

Am here weekly with my kids. Great, friendly staff. Ambiance is very comfortable and cozy. Always have activities planned. Not as big as some of the other libraries in the area but have a great app that makes reserving books and checking account very easy.

It's a good place for going with children and spent time learning trough books, toys and other kind of activities. Is also pretty well for adults if they want going there for reading, studying and watching movies.

Glencoe is always my "go to" library. Staff is awesome and welcoming. My reserve requests are very timely.

I had to download some files and needed help and got immediate attention from the knowledgeable, friendly staff. I couldn’t have understood how to do it on my own. Thank you, Justin, for your assistance. Wonderful library, wish I could have stayed longer.
