Glenda's Kids is a program that supplies supplemental meals to students PreK-12th grade each week.Money for the program purchases food from Second Harvest.
In 2011 the program received its name, Glenda’s Kids, in honor and memory of the late Glenda Houston Hughes. Her passion for Milan’s children, their education, and their needs will never be forgotten. The donations that we have received from businesses, individuals, and churches have allowed us to continue the legacy of Mrs. Glenda Houston Hughes in helping the children of Milan. Every year our numbers increase so without continued support we will not be able to continue the Glenda’s Kids program every year.
