The nurses are fantastic, but unfortunately at the source subject the hospital is there an elevator, I’ve been visiting my dad for several occasions and it is ridiculous 12 maintenance patient people pack single elevator. Hospital located in Fourth largest economy state in the world, in the center of #Glendale, yet they are unable to fix a simple elevator what would be involved in Shop motor from wires and balance and wait with electronics. How embarrassing is this for a country where made probably relying on Chinese
My experience was wonderful. The entire nursing staff was caring, knowledgeable and helpful. They made it as comfortable as possible for me. The food was better and more varied than I have experienced in hospitals The hospitable itself is confusing to get around. It was a mystery to find the address for my ride to pick me up. There needs to be more and better signage and direction Other than that I have nothing but good things to say about my stay.
Thank you for making us feel at home and safe during the delivery of our baby. Everyone was so helpful and kudos to all the nurses for working so hard to help us. You guys are awesome! Thanks to Dr. Ryan Lee for making my birth experience as easy as possible. You were so calm that you made me feel so safe. thank you
This review is based solely on the amazing nurses and PT staff at the hospital. We were met with kindness and compassionate care, even after a 12 hr shift! Unfortunately, the value of comfort in regards to the cafeteria is a solid zero. The hours are short and unreliable! Please, at least, provide vending machines for coffee/tea. Food is comfort in a crisis, how is it possible you don’t know that?! It may seem like an unimportant detail but after spending 2 weeks with my dad, it became clear the importance of simple comfort kindness. Dignity Health clearly has missed the mark!
The hospital and doctors were great! Some nurses were great! I just had the worst experience at labor and delivery with nurse DAISY! She pretends like she cares and she tries to be nice, but in reality she is super rude! My baby was born, front desk told us that 2 people can visit me and switch their places. My husband was with me, my mom came to see the baby, front desk gave her the bracelet and the permission but DAISY slammed the door on my mom's face, instructing her to leave the building i was so dizzy, nervous and at the same time super upset that she treated my mom like that ! She was so rude that both my mom and i started crying! Someone needs to teach her how to be a polite nurse and how to treat people!
We love this hospital Dr.Ryan Lee the greatest doctor of all time delivered my second child his performance and precision on a c-sectional made my wife look like the scar was never there the nurses and security are super friendly especially Rn Christina and Natalia the best nurses in the world can’t wait to give them 4 more babies to deliver lol parking is very cheap the hospital is very clean and aesthetically pleasing we love you guys! The food was amazing and healthy and looked like fine dining if every hospital was like this it would be peace on earth.
Our son was in their critical care unit for 14 days. They did wonderful job given how I'll he was All staff were super, place was clean and care was great. The only concern I had was the infectious control MD never gowned or used gloves even though our son was in isolation.
The Paramedics brought my mom to Glendale Memorial to deal with her COVID symptoms. My mom is 87 and it was frightening. They immediately put her into a room, let me sit with her and took such great care of her, the techs, student nurse and doctor. But the star was Nancy - the ER Nurse Case Nurse extraordinaire - she was awesome. She even walked my mom out to the lobby and waited while I got the car. And our doctor even said he'd loan my mom clothes and his pants - because she was embarrassed she was only wearing her nightgown. Don't like hospitals - but this place was great.
The doctor that saw me in the ER told me I had a UTI. I had also had an EKG. The results of the EKG we’re never told to me. It seem to be a routine test that was done and not really addressed. I had an appointment the following day with my own doctor. It wasn’t until I handed my doctor my paperwork from the ER, did I find out that the results of the EKG showed that I had had a heart attack. I was shocked When I found out. The ER doctor never told me. I believe that I was not told because the ER doctor never looked at my EKG results. This is unacceptable.
If I could give the hospital no stars I would. I traveled all the way from Georgia on a contract as a NEW MOTHER with PPD to work for this hospitalrehab center They pretended to be nice, kind, and caring, but when I got Covid and had to be out due to their policy, they canceled my contract in the middle of my medical leave again that THEIR HOSPITAL enforced. I had a family emergency and the family member whom was hospitalized was my childcare so I had to call off otherwise I was at work on time doing my job with NO OTHER HELP! This is the worst treatment I’ve ever received. The floor I worked on was the only floor that had 8hr shifts 5 days a week and my original contract was supposed to be for 3x12. Horrible. I left my baby daily to work for these ppl and at the drop of a dime when I got sick from THEIR FACILITY, they fire me. How lowdown is that? They definitely needed the help so in the end it was their loss not mine. The staff constantly complained about being understaffed and clearly nothing was done about it so I was a saving grace, too bad they didn’t appreciate me.
