Good coffee. Recently reopened as Gloria Jeans. Coffee is good. Atmosphere is a little sleepy inside. Not much space to sit, they should reduce the size of the large coffee bar in favor of more seating. Good spot to pick up coffee on the go, less so if you're looking for a good spot to sit and sip coffee, work, etc.
I'm so excited to have found a Gloria Jean's. It's always been my favorite coffee place: tasty and not burnt. The size you get for the price is awesome, compared to other coffees places!
Great Friendly Location. Seems to be under new op. Management. Had a great talk with one of the New Managers Lauren. Her and her Mom just took over. Great coffee not bitter,. Great service. Lauren definitely new her coffee she helped me to make a great selection. The Mango Coolata. Outstanding.
I thought this location opened at 6am. I arrived at 6:30am and it was closed. About 10 minutes later a girl showed up and unlocked the door. I asked in a polite manner what time they normally open, she responded with attitude that they were opening late that day. No smile, no apology for the wait, and then she still proceeded to take her time officially opening the place before I was allowed inside. Opening late is fine, it's the bad attitude and lack of customer consideration that I have a problem with. That being said, I will not be back.
Coffee is really good but hours are inconsistent which is very annoying. Drove threw an hour of traffic to get there believing it would close at 7 like google said only to arrive at 6 to a closed store. The same thing happened to other visitors the last time I went here and the hours are not posted on door.
I know this is a newer location but they really need to get their act together. I get the same thing any time I go to a GJ but it always tastes different each time at this location. They also don't have the full drink menu. I love GJ but I'm almost forced to go to Starbucks down the road because I can't wait 10-15 minutes for a coffee when there isn't anyone else in the building. Also be careful when ordering and look at the screen. I was charged more for a sandwich than what it was listed as on the board.
Got a coffee. Asked for non dairy milk. Was directed to the milk/cream table to self-serve. There stood "cream" and "skim" carafe's. I asked the lady if they have soy or almond milk. She said "that is $1 extra". I said "wow that's a lot", she sarcastically responded "everyone charges extra for soy". I said they do not as I get it at Panera all the time and am not charged. She smirked and said "oh well" with a roll of the eye. Very rude. I will not go back.
A basic coffee shop close to the train and in downtown Elmhurst. The service key something to be desired when I was here because there was only one employee on duty who kept going outside to smoke. Once he came back in my drink was fine, but my friend and I saw several people like us confused and waiting for someone to take their order.
Amazing drinks. Friend had a GIANT ice cream coffee drink and was super delicious. I had cafe Americano and was nutty, rich and creamy. Very pleasant staff. Definitely will return.
Serves excellent iced and hot coffee, latte and cappuccinos! Has comfy seating, nice desserts, goods selection for coffee and tea items to bring home and creative mugs to buy!
