Glover's Funeral Home

On January 21, 2022, my grandmother was cremated at Glover's Funeral Home. They contacted my mother incessantly inquiring about payment. My mother provided them with payment also on January 21, 2022 and arranged for my grandmother's remains to be sent to North Carolina, as we do not have any family left in South Carolina. On Monday January 31, 2022, my mother called to check the status of my grandmother's remains. It was then she was told, they had not sent her remains yet because they were "behind." My mother requested that they change the delivery address to my address in that same phone conversation. As of today, February 7, 2022, my family still has not received her remains almost 3 weeks later. I called again inquiring into the whereabouts of her remains and the receptionist informed me that Mrs. Glover mailed my grandmother's remains regular mail with no option to overnight or have it sent certified mail Monday, January 31, 2022 but they did not provide a tracking number or receipt to my mother verifying that they had done so. It appears to me that their main concern is overcharging grieving families while providing poor services. With the amount of money they charged for their services, you would think that it was to go towards enhancing the efficiency of their business. Their bedside manner was repulsive and their professionalism even more reprehensible. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully that is where it ends.

All I can say is Thank God for good hearted people My family had no were else to go all the other funeral homes wouldn’t help us. We was struggling with money to burry my uncle! Thank God for Miss Glover. You was patient and understanding. You have been a blessing to my family. Death comes when you least expect it but I’m glade people like you have a heart for what you do. You made it about “Love” and gave us the best you had to offer. Truly heaven sent! funerals are usually nice because the amount of money you have to put in it. Well we didn’t have a lot and it was still nice because the spirit it was done in ... “Love”.... Thank You!

This week I went to Glover's Funeral Home, to make arrangements for my Mom. I reminded her that she did my Father's and my cousin's service. I was under the impression that if she knew that my family was a return customer , that she would not charge us a lot of money, and not try to make us buy things that we really did not need. Oh how wrong I was, she treated me like a new person, the fact that I was a return customer did not matter. The final bill came up to just over $8000.00. I asked her about a discount because I was a retired police officer, or military veteran, she did take off about $200.00. My advise to anyone when doing business with this business to get a written statement of charges once you get that shop around. You may be surprised that you can do better. As I did. I will do all I can to ensure that she will not get any of my family members again. She has no loyalty towards her return customer why should you. Shop around.

Glovers funeral home recently handled arrangements for my mother. They provided excellent service, my mother was beautiful, they were attentive to all of our needs, and had no problems accommodating us with last minute requests. Thank you Glovers Funeral Home!

My family and I was very pleased, with the services given by Glover's Funeral Home, staff. We laid our mother to rest August 18th. We definitely was satisfied with our services we chose for our mother. Thank you to the staff of Glovers!!!

Lost a dear brother in 2017. I was happy to choose Glover's Funeral Home. If you demonstrate love and professionalism, then the rest of the service will be quality.

I don’t even wanna give this place a one star!! Very unprofessional! They rob you for your money in the time of bereavement, they suppose to help comfort you and not try to rack up on all the money they can. Lied about prices just to gain a few thousands more in their pockets. God forbid for anything to happen any time soon but they will never have my family service again!!!

My family always uses their service. We are very pleased with them! Top-notch service!
