Zoom zoom! Wow! First time getting back into a gas kart in many many many years! Boy SH did not dissapoint. They had 2 categories of karts sharing the euro track. Standard and the extreme. Although we are racing the same track at the same time, this track has the space to make the passes needed. Cant wait to go back for another dose of adrenaline!
I'm not an expert by any means, but this is my favorite place for go karting in the Montreal area. Karts are well maintained, track is wide and outside. Asphalt looked new. Everytime I go there, all participants always enjoy themselves.
Showed up and our group was joined by another who were clearly friends with the people that worked there. They kept cutting people off, bumping into people and driving through the gravel pit throwing rocks onto the track and in the faces of the drivers behind them. They were never given any warning. If you plan to visit this place make you or your group are the only ones on the track.
Totally disappointed. Went whit my brother and my nephew and all 3 karts have different speed. My was 36,the fastest, my brother the 20 extra slow. I live just 5 minutes from there, but I’m not going back .
If you are ever interested to go run a go kart, check out SH karting in St.Hilaire. They will provide you with a great experience.
Nice people, the track is good and the karts well maintained.
I used to go to this track 3-5 times a year. For the last two years, it's really gotten quite bad. Just tried the winter experience. Had an appointment at 2h05pm. Didn't get on track until 2h45. What's the point of booking an appointment if doesn't mean jack? Also, no bathroom facilities, so be warned. When we finally got on track, my kart didn't even finish the first lap before it died. The karts kept getting stuck because the track had too much snow. And finally, they waved us back in after only 8 minutes supposed to be 12. I won't be going back for a while. Hopefully, they'll get organized again because I quite like the track and the karts weren't too bad in the past.
Nice place and staff, but the track could use a bit of smoothing out. Some sections are really bumpy.
One of our karts had a mechanical failure and had to miss half of the race. Request for reimbursement was immediately declined. Only a 50% off coupon for ‘next time’. Not appropriate when you live hundreds of kms away.
