In addition, Godwin holds a solid academic foundation from Nigeria, his home land, where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1983 from Plateau State Polytechnic in Barkin Ladi and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Technical Education in 1989 from the University of Jos.
