Awesome bakery and cafe! People were so nice. We got a yummy breakfast with good coffee. We then got some of the biggest and most delicious sandwiches! Also for a ridiculously good price. If in Victor and hungry then this is the place.
EVERY single thing we ordered was delicious!! The Turkey and Swiss on home baked Sourdough was outstandingGet all the veggies. The Chicken Pot Pie was delicate, well seasoned and the crust was to die for. The Pasties are fantastic, just enough cubed turnips and potatoes to make them hearty with the well seasoned beef. The Carrot cake was out of this world, lovely well balanced flavors, moist and dense..with a perfect balance of frosting to cake. Honestly the BEST Carrot cake we had ever had in our lives. Then we tried the German Chocolate cake...it was much more subtle in flavors than ones we normally get from American bakeries. This was a delicious cake with very delicate and thoughtful flavorings with very nice finishing note of the cocoa. Simply delicious.
Bee Sting Cake is the best ever. The Great bakery choices and food choices, sandwiches look amazing and they make great coffees. There is a line here because the food is so good.
We love this bakery. The people are so friendly and the food is homemade and incredible. Highly recommend you visiting! Typical hours are 8-4. Breakfast and lunch options. Huge sandwiches, pot pie and oodles of pastry, cake, pie, cookie and coffee options. Children's corner to play, free wifi and friendly! Go local and support Victor!
Loved eating here. Great German style food and fun atmosphere. Pastries are so rich. Get as much of those cakes slices as you can hold.
Delicious! Very nice folks here who clearly make their food with lots of care. We ordered the chicken pot pie plenty for one person and a sandwich meal deal. The freshly made bread is soooo good! Also highly recommend the bee sting for dessert. They describe it as a traditional German pastry with sweet almonds and vanilla whipped cream. It’s not too sweet, which I personally really like.
Lovely little bakery with delicious German food! Enjoyed a pastie and some bee sting cake. The homemade sourdough bread is also the best I've had!
Excellent little bakery! We stopped by early afternoon and they still had an awesome array of baked goods! Will definitely stop again and spread the word. I do recommend taking the time for a visit to this historic area.
It has been years since I have been here, and I am STILL thinking about it. My family and I had the best sandwiches and soup I had ever eaten here, and bought herbed bread that was made with so much love. I really love this bakery, and I hope I can travel to visit again someday.
We drove almost 2 hours to get to the Bakery took the Scenic route. Got there at around 130pm but the bakery was closed. Google and website say they are open until 4pm. We left disappointed.
