I got a sterling silver ring here, and it has maintai ned great condition for over three years now! The staff is so friendly, and the prices aren't overwhelming. My favorite part of visiting the store is getting to see their adorable cat wander around and meet everyone. This is such a fun place to shop, and I definitely recommend it!
The owner is so very nice, polite, and has a smile on his face at all time! Very cute items and affordable too!!
This is a nice place to stop by, but customer service is known to be poor. That being said, there is a wide variety of products that can be purchased here, ranging from jewelery, souvenirs, and other unique things.
Bought a $450 sterling silver and turquoise cuff, 2 days later a stone fell out. By the Grace of God we found it.
I bought a silver ring from this shop. Good selection, fair prices, and friendly staff. My only complaint is that some of the rings didn't have the price clearly marked while in the glass case. It would have made shopping easier if I'd known the price on everything. Great experience overall!
Super weird vibes inside. They have a lot of items and cool witchy stuff and jewelry. We were never greeted which is fine, there’s high traffic so low pressure shop owners exist. However, the staff was busy talking very loudly about other people and their travel plans. While I was trying some rings on they started saying you never know who’s going to steal a ring and just run out the door. When I walked away from the rings the guy immediately went over there to check on them. Retail associate 101: people are less likely to steal when you are helpful, greet them, or say literally anything to them. I guess making them never want to come back works, too.
This is a wonderful place to shop. The owners are personable and the staff most helpful. From Native American jewelry - authentic! - to an eclectic mix of mythological and hero statues and even leather journals ... do yourself a favor and drop in. It's always been a destination for us when visiting Estes Park. You won't be disappointed.
Cute little shop! They have all sorts of trinkets, jewelry, candles, books. Prices are a bit high. The man running the store was very nice, no complaints there at all! Love, love love the ring I bought there. Would recommend! Hopefully the other workers, that people have mentioned in their reviews, who are not so great, have been addressed...
Mine and my husband's FAVORITE place on earth! The merchandise is unique, beautiful and high quality, JUST like the staff! I HIGHLY recommend The Gold Mine for ALL of your jewelry shopping while visiting Estes Park. Thank you, Lisa and The Gold Mine Staff for being SO AMAZING to us over ALL of the years 39 we've visited you!!! See you all again in September! :-D
This shop AMAZED me. My husband and I who are from St. Louis, MO visited Estes park for 3 days in November and I purchased a gorgeous opal ring with diamonds around it. After returning home, I noticed two of the diamonds had either fallen out or were missing. I called The Gold Mine and spoke to an employee who told me to send the ring back to CO and they would fix it free of charge. As reluctant as I was to ship a very expensive ring to a small shop 12 hours away and expect it to return to me, I sent the ring with my information attached and hoped for the best. I called to check in twice during the repair, and both times I was able to get a clear understanding of where the ring was in the repair process. Low and behold, one month later I received the ring back in the mail here in St. Louis good as new! Talk about 5 star customer service!!
