I enjoy coming here. The staff is excellent-- very nice and helpful. The lady golds area is nice if you want a little more privacy. I have a personal trainer right now Sue she is great. Very knowledgeable..I had no idea that the exercises I was doing years ago when I was a member were not correct. I am learning a lot and she doesn't take it easy on me she pushes me. But she also doesn't take me beyond she pays attention and always keeps safety in mind. The gym itself is clean, lots of equipment and a nice place for the experienced or the newbie.
Cancelled membership months back, or at least I was told my membership was cancelled, months later---monthly fees still deducted out of bank account for 3 months minimum. Called/emailed multiple times for refund, was assured refund was forthcoming. Received phone call yesterday stating no refund coming due to not having a "cancellation notice document" on file. Would have happily signed the mysterious document had it been given to me. The folks working front desk ALWAYS great to see/speak with, however, this business practice isn't the best. We all know how fast bad news travels, and here it is.
Not good working with customers. They'll take money weeks after cancelation and won't offer any sort of refund due to the contract. Be careful signing up here. This gym used to be good.
Great gym!! I go here about 3 time a week.The facility is always kept in great shape , the cleaning crew does outstanding work.The staff is very friendly and even take the time out to remember some of the members names which Always feels good As for "lady golds" only women allowed I love the environment I don't have to worry about waiting for equipment because I have my own section which I love
After being a member for 15 years I can say I will never return to this Gold's Gym. The equipment is out dated and rarely cleaned off. Equipment is often out of commission. The place is a cesspool for bacteria. They refused to fix the sauna having broken boards, nails hanging out, a string for a handle, a light that rarely works. Never seems to be clean. This place is in need of some new management and an overhaul. Staff in recent years has become horrible. There is no service what so ever. BEWARE of their money grabbing ways! Sorry to all the wonderful people that workout there cause there is not much to offer in the area. Pay the extra money and go to LA fitness way better facility!
Friendly staff! Never too crowded. Great selection of equipment. It’s not the newest gym in town but it gets the job done and it’s worth it for the space and friendly staff. Good people there too. Everyone understands no matter where you’re at In your fitness journey you’re there to better yourself and that’s respected. I’d stay forever if I wasn’t moving.
This is a great gym with a family atmosphere. The equipment is clean and they use environmentally friendly microfiber towels to do it! My kids also love going to the kids club there and participating in all the crafts and activities. I highly recommend this gym.
