Anybody going to Hanover golds gym recommend you not to signed up or cancel your memberships. My car was broken into last night. Management was notified they did not seem surprised. They said it happens about every 6 month. I cancel my membership that same day because of how management handle things. When canceling membership they said they will not charge me for another month or change me early cancellation fees. Got a called this morning saying I had be to put and additional month plus $100 early cancelation fees. And I told here why about what you said last night when I cancel my membership that I wouldn’t be charge anything for canceling my membership. Manager would not honor what here assistant managers told me . And there was nothing that she could do and she was very rude. Do not do not go Hanover golds gym
My experience at Gold's Gym was a lovely one. I had heard about Gold's Gym through their staff member Abigail Horner, who convinced me to get a summer membership on my holiday from college. Being a college student, I was skeptical about spending the money to acquire a gym membership, not having great experiences with the YMCA in the past. However, Gold's Gym was a new world for me. Clean, modernized, and full of friendly staff and unique distractions from the mundane task of working out, it was well worth the money. I am so grateful to Abby for introducing me to Gold's Gym, for always having a lovely demeanor about her when working, and for giving me a goal to work to in the future, becoming a Gold's Gym member once again.
I have been a member here since 2013 and this is hands down the best gym out there. At every visit I am greeted with smiles and work out in an impeccable environment. Jeanine Carbajal, instructor, is a solid attribute to this place. Over the years she has pushed me to my limit in group classes and always gave me positive reinforcement. Thank you Jeanine for training not only my body but my mind and soul. I also have to give recognition to Molly and Kristen. They are also extremely positive and you can definitely tell they love this profession. I am really sadden to say good bye to this place after all the great experiences I've had here. Although, I already moved out of state, Chris Simoncini and Terry cancelled my membership as requested. They responded immediately and made the process easy. In my opinion, you cannot get a better gym than this. Thank you for everything.
My family has lived in several states and visited many gyms. I have also owned a gym and know the difficulty of maintaining a clean facility. Erica Vasquez is unmatched when it comes to maintaining a pristine facility and interacting with customers. My husband and I have referred many people to Gold's Gym based on the cleanliness alone. The facility is well above average with respect to equipment and classes. The tipping point that sets Gold's Gym Hanover apart from comparable facilities is without a doubt the work ethic and pride of Erica Vasquez.
I was in town for a week on a business trip and had a very good experience with the gym. The weekly guest membership was only $25, and the signup process was super quick and easy. They have everything you need for a great workout!
Facilities are fine but the customer service is below average. ALSO, make sure you do your due diligence on the gym membership policies. If you want to cancel your membership due to moving, etc, they put MAJOR stipulations on your ability to do so. Absurd.
First off, if you want a gym just for cardio or a quick workout, this place is fine. If you are looking for a serious gym to get a great workout in, this is not the place. The equipment is aged and the barbells are horrible. York barbell equipment is terrible. The gym has a ton of cardio machines but ridiculous free weight section with Dumbbells and cables that are coming apart.
Do not get involved with Compel Fitness Personal Training. The director Nate Kinard does not return phone calls when one of his trainers quits leaving you with no trainer yet they still expect you to continue to pay for services not provided. Scam!
gold's gym has charged $150 to my bank account in a matter of 2 weeks for no reason. I have called to get my money back and instead they try to just "credit" me. It is not my fault that they are taking money that doesn't belong to them and on top of that they can't return it instead they credit it?! unacceptable.
It is very out dated / worn... when you join, the personal trainers are overly PUSHY for you to pay, $ 45. An hr. !!! On top of your membership.. no thank you. Made me uncomfortable! Tanning is included, great, rt ? Well, bulbs havent been replaced, some are out & now i have a stripe down my back !!!! Uuhhh... sucks!
