Golden Brown Chicken

Despite all the excellent Yelp reviews, the chicken dishes we ordered was average. The Black Pepper Grilled Chicken and the Spicy Garlic Grilled Chicken was smothered with a Teriyaki based sauce. Neither of the dishes should be sweet and savory but savory only. The Cajun Chicken Wings lacked spice and flavour. The only plus side is that none of the food is cooked in advance and the portion was plentiful. The negative side is they only offer cole slaw as their only vegetable.

t 1st you're not sure what to order. Everything on the menu looks real inviting . I wasn't' ready to go into anything exotic, so, I order the 1/2 chicken. It came with coleslaw and lightly seasoned fries. The 1st bite convinced me I was on to something. The battered drumstick reminded me of good fried chicken during summer picnics. Can't wait to try the other menu items...

You think you're coming here for the chicken but let me tell you something they've got the best coleslaw barnone I've had anywhere at any restaurant in town or in San Gabriel Valley and their fries are unbelievable the garlic fries are probably in the top five best fries you can get in the entire city. Yes the chicken here is good but don't be fooled the garlic fries and the chicken Cajun chicken and the coleslaw yummy yummy yummy

The Best portion of food for the price I have ever paid for. The ratio between protein and rice is excellent. Protein being the dominating element of the two. Would highly recommend it. Employees are a pleasure to deal with as well

Never come here. Chicken is too under cooked. I complained to the cashier. Got a new teriyaki​ bowl that also had the grilled chicken undercooked. Will never come back. Save your money and go somewhere else better.

Very generous portions and affordable. We tried the fried chicken, Hainan and garlic chicken. The chicken is so tender and juicy for all of them. For the fried chicken, I was surprised that the leftovers stayed crispy even after the next day!

Update: Much to dismay, and for reasons unknown, this place has closed. From the chicken bowls to burritos to fried chicken, there's not a bad meal to be had! Polite and friendly staff with excellent food and decent pricing.

Really good chicken whether fried or grilled. Good flavor and large portions for a good price. Much better than all the other fast food chains. Nice people too.

I tried several dishes and the only thing that is super good is their Golden Brown Fried Chicken. The rest of the chicken menu, I can find other restaurant that make it better. Their French Fries is also bomb.

Teriyaki chicken was under cooked. Pepper chicken had no pepper. White rice was disgusting. Never going back again.
