I had a lot of junk jewelry to offload. Steve and Ilana evaluated all my old pieces and gave me a very fair credit, which I put toward repair of my most treasured pieces. My great grandmothers ruby ring was flanked by two diamonds, one had fallen out from the prongs coming loose. Steve’s expert eye replaced the missing diamond, reinforced the prong, and professionally cleaned it. I have never seen this ring so brilliant and sparkle so much. I can’t give enough praise to Steve for the incredible work performed to make this ring as gorgeous as it once was. He also sized a silver ring and cleaned that as well, making it more beautiful than when I bought it. This is the place to go for incredible craftsmanship, fair prices and a very warm customer service experience. You won’t leave disappointed no matter the reason you walk in.
I wish I did not need to leave a 1-star review, especially in the midst of all of these 5-star reviews I read on here. But, I can only share MY experience. Visited Golden Castle on Saturday, 8/19 after 2PM. Came in with my other half to inquire about having several pieces of jewelry cleaned… 6 rings, 1 bracelet, 2 necklaces and a pair of earrings. The woman who waited on us told us that they have professional cleaning available where each piece will be cleaned and hand-polished to look like brand new - at a cost of $200 for each piece. That was not what I was looking for, so I said that we would pass on that option. Her response to me was “cheap, cheap…” Now, maybe she was trying to be funny… I really don’t know. It was delivered with a degree of sarcasm and facial expression, so I think it had plenty of seriousness behind it. But, I just don’t know for sure. That being said, it was a comment - made in front of my other half being on my arm - that didn’t need to be said. Especially in a retail environment. She then said they could steam clean them while we wait. I said that sounds good to me. Gave her all the above items - and was handed them back 90 seconds later. Every item still dirty… Visibly still dirty. Not because they weren’t polished - that’s not what the issue is. I’ve used steam to clean. It obliterates dirt… so to get all the items back with 90 seconds and they are still dirty? We were just getting pushed back out of the store, it’s really just simply that… Unfortunately for Golden Castle, they lost a customer. Because I purchased an $850 gold crucifix necklace from them not all that long ago - for the woman on my arm. And I am soon to be ring shopping. But Golden Castle will not be a place I visit any longer. Their competition in Sparta will be getting my business from now on.
OMG! I can’t say enough how wonderful this jewelry store is.I brought a ring in I wanted to take the diamonds out and make into special earrings for a special birthday for my daughter. They were so helpful and made just what I wanted. The most beautiful pair of earrings I couldn’t have been happier with. I haven’t given them to my daughter yet. Next week she will get them. They had the earrings ready as promised even a few days early. This jewelry story husband and wife made me feel like part of their family. They are truly the best. If you want the best go to Golden Castle!!!
They expertly repaired my wife's engagement ring, absolutely flawless. Steve and Ilana took my mother in law's engagement ring and turned it into a beautiful pendant making it possible for my Wife to keep her mother's memory close to her heart. I always have my watch batteries replaced here, again they always do a great job in a timely fashion.
I had been looking for a jeweler that would be able to do engraving on a baby's charm and I had such a hard time, till I came across Golden Castle Jewelers. I walked in explained what I needed to be done and no problems. The piece was ready in a couple of days and turned out beautiful. However while I was there I saw beautiful pieces, which means I will need to make another trip this time for shopping.
10+ My favorite jewelers anywhere! First purchase was a flawless pair of 1kt diamond gold studs. Now Steve and Ilana are setting my beautiful 1-1/2kt Columbian emerald in a stunning 18kt gold setting flanked by small diamonds. Special thanks to Ilana for helping me design the setting around this beautiful stone. Golden Castle Jewelers are professional, courteous and always offer a quick turnaround. Love you guys!

Golden Castle Jewelers has been nothing but a wonderful experience from the start. I came in with my 7 year old engagement ring, that had previously been carelessly "fixed" at another jeweler after my prongs wore down and my center stone was lost. I was almost in tears but the professionalism and confidence that Steve and Ilana showed me, reassured me that they were going to take care and help me get my ring back to its original condition. Steve was able to basically recreate my exact original ring, and Ilana found me an even more beautiful center stone as a replacement. I couldn't have been more thrilled with the end result and their communication and reassurance through the process made all the difference. He has designed and created jewelry for me. Everything is perfect. I feel like family when I go there. I trust them implicitly. His wonderful wife, Illana is a love to work with as well. A top notch jeweler! I brought my 50 year old diamond wedding ring to be sized after several other jewelers tried unsuccessfully. The very friendly and knowledgeable staff took the time to discuss the options. Steve's skill and artistry also restored the weakened prongs and resolved the turning issue. I can now wear the ring with confidence and comfort. It absolutely sparkles like new!
