Golden Chick

This was our first time having Golden Chick . It was much better than what I expected. We had gotten the breast and leg combo . The breast was big. The chicken came promptly and it was hot and juicy. The raspberry lemonade was really delicious. It had a sweet raspberry flavor. The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. The dirty rice was very good also . The restaurant was clean and well maintained. They were out of coleslaw and fried okra. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service was prompt and the food fresh and hot .I would recommend them .

Great food and service on this visit. Ordered the 16 PC strips family meal with green beans and okra. Chicken was fresh, hot, and not too greasy. Green beans and okra were great! Even the rolls were good. Service was fast and friendly. We'll be back.

So on the attached menu, a 2 piece combo, should be $9.49 which by the way is ridiculous. I only wanted water so I was going to get a 2nd side but he was going to charge me extra. That's NOT what the menu says. Still only wanted water but still charged 9.49. What a rip off and false advertising! Won't be back!Food: 1/5

Food is usually good & our preference for chicken locally but tonight on 8/4/22 they wouldn't let me order at 9:15 pm & hours say they close at 10. So do they actually close at 10 & just didn't want to take more orders? If they close at 9, definitely need to edit the hours online because we came out just for this.

Went through the drive thru and ordered chicken sandwiches which was going to be a 10 minute wait and was asked to pull around to the front. After 15 minutes I went in to check on the order. It had been ready just sitting on the counter. Asked for ketchup and was then informed they were out. Started eating sandwich in the parking lot and it was tough and chewy. Fries were cold. Wife was not happy and went in for refund.

1st time I ever had Golden Chick and for sure the last time. Service was slow, took 10min to make a sandwich in which it didn't taste good, cheese wasn't even melted and bread was soggy. Ice tea was good.

Before the pandemic, this was our go-to for the roasted chicken when we were in town. Now, the worst service I have ever dealt with anywhere. They take FOREVER to get an order out, whether in the drive through, or ordering online. And they find it impossible to get an order correct. We will not go back.

Best fries I ever had! They were like Mash Potato Fries. It's nice to be able to get fried and roasted chicken in one order.Food: 5/5

Went yesterday for a guick dinner and wish I had just eaten leftovers. Got a go order and the chicken was cold the okra was hard and old and Mac and cheese was a gummy ball and barely a spoonful in the container. Loud music was blaring and you could barley talk inside. Gave the whole mess to my dogs. Needless to say I won't be coming back! Dairy queen looks like my choice for chicken. Wish there was a minus star!! Also workers stand outside door smoking and yelling on phone. You guys really need to clean up your act.

Country gravy with chicken tenders?!? Hell yes, I do believe I'll have another! And the corn nuggets are pretty friggin awesome.Food: 5/5
