Golden Griddle Pancake House

They seemed like they didn't want to sit our party in an empty restaurant. It took them almost 45 minutes to take our order and kept saying they'd send someone over when we flagged down a waitress. We watched several tables get seated, fed and leave before they came back to us. They then put an automatic gratuity charge on our bill despite some of the worst service I've ever experienced.

I enjoy visiting this spot for breakfast. They service is always great and so is the food. My last visit the hostess engaged us in good conversation which made the experience even better.

I can not speak on the food but I will speak on the manager and his rudeness. I am a Job Developer of Envision Unlimited and I called on behalf of a member that was interested in a job position for this establishment. I called spoke with a clerk first and the Manager John gets on the phone and says " Don't call me about a job I'm not hiring over the phone...you gotta come in and no I'm not hiring" in an angry tone and he hangs up! I called back and a waitress I believe picked the phone up mention that I am another employer calling on behalf of a member who wanted to be employed by your company, all you had to say is currently we are not hiring...not only do I want my member to work there but not to eat there" and waitress/ worker who picked up phone replies and says "Well that's my boss and what he says goes!". Horrible Customer Service

Always consistently delicious and friendly for years. The wait staff is accommodating and caring. The chef and kitchen turn out delicious everything. Had pecan waffle and requested side of peaches, Wow! Enough to take home to enjoy next day. Same freshness and deliciousness . Management demonstrates professional appreciation for amazing dining experience. Travel from the 30s on Southside to this location. Never disappointed! John the owner and his wife Rhonda makes this a family like welcoming event each and time . Excellent food big portions that can be rewarmed at home. Chefs are amazing .

The dining experience could have been totally fine ' But due to one reason things were bad. The Ham Off the Bone, I ordered Was Spoiled ' You could smell it Right Away . . . The waitresses was the Best Food: 3/5

I found this place on Google as i was in the area shopping and I am happy my family and I stopped here to have some food. The atmosphere when you walk in is so comfy and family oriented, you can feel the warmth. Food was delicious and hot..eggs were just how i asked scrambled easy with american cheese..pancakes were fluffy and favorable mmm soo good ..my family had no complaints either...even my sister couldn't put the fork down from the pancakes..lol..waiter tending to our requests was very tentative did a great job overall...all around breakfast restaurant to have with your family!

Got crepes and my friend also got an egg combo. Food was good, tasty; reasonably priced; service was good too. Took the picture too late. Most food was gone.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. Our waitress handled our party of around 10 excellently. But the food was just ok.

Always delicious food and a great menu to choose from. Service can't be beat. No photos cause I ate to fast!Food: 5/5
