Golden Nozzle Car Wash started in the 1970’s as a complement to the other motoring public businesses owned by F.L. Roberts & Company, headquartered in Springfield, MA. The name ‘Golden Nozzle’ derived from the color of the gas station pumps at F.L. Robert gas stations in Western Massachusetts. In the fall of 2016, Nouria Energy acquired F.L. Roberts & Company’s 26 convenience store and 22 Golden Nozzle Car Wash locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut. The chain has become the gold standard for car care in the region. Golden Nozzle’s successful Unlimited Wash Pass program began in 2008. Members of the monthly wash program enjoy unlimited car washes at any Golden Nozzle Car Wash location in five New England states.

The manager Pedro, he thinks he is the boss, and he owns the golden nozzel. They used the high-pressure spray over the bonnets. I asked the manager if they have a low pressure spray for the bonnet hood, and he said they do not. I told him that they were not supposed to use that high-pressure spray over the bonnet, and he told me if I did not like it. I should stop coming over here. He gave me the office number because he knew today was the weekend, and after I left, he stood and was laughing, making fun of me. I will not go back there until the company gets rid of him. This is not service.
So annoyed the way I was treated by the manager Pedro today.He cancelled my membership as he said my sticker was in the wrong location on my car.its been there for years and Ive never had any staff member including Pedro have a problem with it. I could have moved it in a few days once I got another parking sticker and move my current one and placed the golden nozzle sticker when he wanted it. He cancelled my account without my knowledge or permnission. The way I was spoken to was rude and unprofessional . He asked me to back out of the wash and he got several cars to move. I said i wanted my car washed and refused to leave. He agreed to wash it, but yet again was unprofessional ,ran my car through without soap. This one star review is so well deserved Pedro. I have made a complaint to your Coporate office and Im awaiting a call from your regional manager. Shame on you for how you treated a solid custome,r not once but twice today.
Great car wash easy off and on the route 91 and it actually get your car clean I think it's better than the touchless car washes
I’ll never go back! My Lexus received a 22 inch scratch down the right side roof sail. Plus the car is still dirty from salt infused recycled water. $20 bucks for this? Nay nau If you all will notice, Mr Golden Nozzle responded with a pathetic message like he really cared. I called 3 days ago to his number and he never returned the call as one would expect. This business is poorly run and managed! Read the reviews! Any car wash that damages your car and comes out still dirty is a gigantic waste of $20. You'll get a better wash driving thru a good puddle. It's your loss if you patronize this establishment; I know I sure won't.
Three hours after I posted the review below I was surprised to receive a message from the manager. After speaking with him it was determined that the car probably was not seated properly on the track. He mailed me a coupon for a free car wash and apologized for my inconvenience That was much appreciated. After the manager's quick response and desire to make it right I felt it my responsibility to follow up and change the 1 star to 4 stars. The car wash in Northampton, MASS was awful. The 1st set of washers just glided over the car and the blowers at the end did not work. Only the sides of the car showed some semblance of a wash. Very disappointed. I will never go back to this one.
Went through the self-service bay and the touchless car wash. Needless to say, the self-bay pressure washer was not fully functional, I paid the full $12 for maximum amount of time and still struggled to finish my car wash because the spray would cut off every 2 minutes or have a very low pressure. It's clearly broken forcing you to pay for extra time just to complete your car wash. The touchless wash on the otherhand, damaged and bent my license plate in half in the front of my car and left swirls all over my paint and the salt and dirt on the sides of my car didn't even wash off. Overall displeased about my experience here.
I've never had my car washed before and my boyfriend surprised me with my first ever car wash that he paid for. We got the $19 one and the guy helped me get lined up to the track,got our money,and go us going. I felt a little claustrophobic with the long sponge thingies whatever they're called mopping my car but it was a quick in and out thing,my car is really clean and shiny now,the snow will probably dirty it up again but it was a fun thing to get done
This car wash is fast, but not thorough. I gave the guy a nice tip to spray off the dirt and he spent all of 15 seconds. Soiled cars going in = scratched cars coming out. No towel dry either and at $14 for the most basic wash, it's a rip. I won't be back.
Nice location for a quick car wash with free vacuums; I recommend the monthly unlimited pass that is accepted at all their locations $20 a month for unlimited car washes is a good deal IMO
