Pleasantly surprised.  First time staying there, I usually stay at other properties.  No complaints.  Was less crowded than others on New Years weekend, which I like.  Pretty clean.  Very, very, very nice staff.  I don't need much.  Shower is a little weird, but who cares.

The lady that checked us in was great!! She was very helpful, and informative.   The maid was great!! Very nice. The people that gave you your wrist bands for the pool were very nice and friendly. The people that worked outside at the pool area were just rude!! In fact the people that work at the restaurant were very rude and didn’t care if you were a customer or not.   The valet was rude also.  This was my first trip there and will not stay there again.

I have been to AC so many times and this past weekend was the very first time that I visited the Golden Nugget. What a fantastic casino and hotel! Very grand with an old school classy vibe that I will never forget. They have a fabulous lounge with a great DJ and it's FREE! EXCELLENT music, great people and such a wonderful vibe! Don't waste your money at Pool after Dark at Harrahs! Go the the Rush lounge at the Golden Nugget instead! Much better!

It’s definitely the place to be if you’re in your 50s. I was shocked to see all the older folks partying hard. Free parking was cool but it is a bit of a walk. Very dated and dark interior. You can smell a little bit of smoke but in certain areas. The front desk guy was cool. My room was ok. Very dusty and strands of hair were in the tub.

We had a 2 night girls weekend on a Thurs and Fri night. The rooms and corridors were clean and well maintained as was the self park garage.  The pool is just lovely. The 5 of us lounged in the cement loungers in the shallow pool with cocktails. Food was good and reasonable.  Rush Lounge was beat, full of old people and we're all in our 60s! The front desk and escalator area really needs work...it's in good condition but looks dated.

we drink and watched the band on the patio. what are great location and very inviting. Bartender on Sunday was the slowest man I ever seen move. terrible!! the look on the servers face because they couldn't get drinks to patrons was almost heartbreaking.  think about how much more sales you would have had if he wasn't there. there would be only 2 stars but a second Bartender came out around 3pm, he was engaged, great personality and was quick!! you have a gem there, fix this

We parked our car, walked to the elevator, and went to the main floor. It smelled of urine when we got on the elevator and off. We made our way to the restaurant and had dinner. Our server was nice and attentive.  Not a repeat visit for us.  Atlantic City is a husk of what it used to be. The economy has devastated the entire community. It will take a lot to revitalize this community.

Pros: - location is great. - room was kind of clean. There was a lot of dust for example on the alarm clock and phone. They look like they haven’t been touched in a while. - shark tank pool is pretty cool but that’s its.  Cons: - pool is way to crowded with the chairs. Your shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you. - pool is average size not that big. - Staff was rude and demanded for gratuity  Wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel and casino. The room is attractive and comfortable and it's nice that the parking garage is free.  This casino lacks the drink button on the slots machines that the Caesars casinos and Hard Rock have so the drink service is lacking in the casino floor. If they they add that service than this would be the best casino in AC.

Wasn’t very happy with the way it smelled and music blasting when you walk in. I think the location is great and it just needs some upgrades and it would be as nice as Harrahs and the others. I would love to take the owner on a tour of his own Hotel. The air doesn’t smell fresh smells like stale smoke even in rooms. Help the golden Nugget
