We just completed 16 weeks of the at-home program with my primary-school-aged son who was right-brain weak. We were very committed to doing the best we could do, even while on vacation, and had a great coach Sam - and our hard work paid off. Some days were more difficult than others, but overall it was a great experience and well worth it. My son now sits through meals, is reading better, has much better focus, shows improved listening skills, is a lot less impulsive, not wetting the bed, and not constantly putting things in his mouth like he had been doing. You can retrain the brain, and I do believe Dr. G knows what he's talking about! I am so glad I found Brain Balance. Thank you, Sam and Dr G!
I am so thankful for the Brain Balance team! Dr. G and Tayjha were wonderful resources who made themselves available whenever I had questions or concerns. The program helped my daughter not only with her learning needs, but I witnessed significant improvement in her behavior, coordination and confidence as she went through the program. Dr. G also provided insight and guidance as we navigated the public school learning disability identification process, which was a huge benefit to me. I am very grateful to have found a program that didn't rely on medication or quick fixes, but focused on the long-term health of the whole child - mind, body, spirit, nutrition and activities.
My husband heard about brain balance on the radio and we made an appt back in April. We anxiously trusted our guts on this judgement and from the first visit till our last session brain balance was nothing but amazing. Great communication and the difference it made with my two children I’m just incredibly thankful for all there support and guidance they provided ! This program was one of the best decisions my husband and I could have made. Thank you Dr. G and everyone at the brain balance center. Your efforts dedication and hard work doesn’t go unnoticed super thankful for all the work you guys do !
My daughters is 13 years old. She is a very intelligent girl. I disagree to state that she is ADHD when she is ADD, but now the label used for kids who do not maintain their attention , is ADHD. The truth is that she constantly goes to what a teacher called "her private island". Teachers love her because she is very polite gives no problem to them but she does not complete school work. She does not complete state standard tests. The truth is that they are left EMPTY. She started Kindergarten in Nebraska and contrary to what the state in their "mission", She was LEFT behind. To get her up to date, became a nightmare. In May 2022, my best friend sent me the book "Disconnected Kids". I read and googled Brain Balance. We went there and an evaluation showed many areas of opportunities. In July 2022 we started to work with the Brain Balance Norwalk team. Since we are in Massachusetts, the best option was to do it virtually. Three months of hard work, two of them during the vacation period but one with school already in progress. We worked almost every day on the tasks that were given to her. The progress was seen immediately because we were committed. I did not wanted to hear that it failed because we did not follow the instructions I was skeptical at the beginning. We completed the program. We can see differences at school work and in social skills... She is having EYE contact!!! She has new friends!!! We still have areas to work with and we have new instructions after the evaluation at the office and she graduated from the program. Work has not ended. But now, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, she is in 8th grade and I have the confidence that we can close gaps in her development and this is the beginning. In September 2022, she will start High School almost at the same level than her peers. And the best is the hope that she will be able to have the same opportunities to succeed in her future than all her classmates.
Brain Balance is amazing! They care deeply about my daughter’s success. They are knowledgeable about their field and beyond it. Highly recommended!!!
Very simple. When I asked Dr. Goldenberg specifically about probability of results based on their professional survey and observation, he said “absolutely there will be improvement” ……. He was correct……improvement can be 65% to 65.5% but they sell 99% improvement which in our case is 100% false. With high degree of certainty he assured me the 99% result but only as I kept questioning his future projected results. I will say despite my fears of this being waste of our time and money, it became reality when program ended, there was absolutely no visible or noticeable result on behavior but he will keep showing you improvement charts an continuously answer you with “progress not perfection” as you question lack if any practical progress. This is only my view and I suggest anyone to be assured of real life results and not charts plus “progress and not perfection” as progress can be .1% and not what they promise. Very disappointed to say the least, unfortunately for us.
