Nice for a leisurely and short historic walk. Some of the trail didn't appear to be maintained well enough to venture. So we just walked the outer trail in which we could see the path easily. I enjoyed reading the information throughout our walk. There's nowhere to sit just to enjoy the area. I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here. It's ok, left alot to be desired.
Small little field with an equally small amount of history. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow and the bridge is lovely, though not entirely out of the ordinary.
Beautiful rustic wedding venue option with plenty of space to host ceremony + reception! Plenty of gorgeous spots for photos too!
Not like the other batterfields but enjoyed the trail and the markings they laid out was priceless and educational.
Great place to walk, interesting trails, beautiful down by the river.
Amazing venue for a rustic wedding. Half of the decorating is already done for you.
Walk in the footsteps of the soldiers during the final days of the Civil War. The monuments and self guided walking sign tour is informative helping you to understand the significance of the area and battles fought there.
Went to walk the trails, but many were not cleared and couldn't be walked safely. Also very disappointed seeing the flag the park seems to think is ok to fly. Don't think I will be coming back.
The entrance was hard to find. It's not next to the barn as I thought. A bit closer to the main roads. The placards were interesting. You walk around a field and go back in a few areas. While interesting and a good stretch of the legs, it wasn't that exciting. But I did learn about the battle, so 3 stars.
I was here to direct a wedding. The venue is nice if you want a rustic venue. The weather this weekend was pretty much perfect for the occasion. It is not a very big venue, but you can have a nice event here. This wedding was outside and the reception was inside. There is a lot of history in the building/area.
