Welcome to the Gone Wilde Toastmasters Facebook page. You are invited to join us Wednesdays at noon in the Writer's Room of the Wilde Rover Irish Pub. Conveniently located at 111 Central Way, Kirkland, Washington, 98033
The inspiration for our name comes from two sources: 1) from Oscar Wilde, an Irish poet, playwright, and journalist, who also toured and lectured as spokesman for aestheticism; and 2) from our regular and convenient gathering place at the Wilde Rover Irish Pub and Restaurant located in downtown Kirkland, Washington.
We are a convivial group and consider our meetings a 'bright spot in our week.' A bit of Irish Luck shines on us each week as we have the privilege to learn from each other, grow our individual speaking and leadership skills. We love to celebrate each individual's achievements and as a team, are forging a path towards becoming a Distinguished Club!
We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
