Gonzaga University School of Law's Federal Tax Clinic, housed in University Legal Assistance, is a Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) serving Eastern Washington area residents.
The Clinic was formed to provide professional skills training to law students and to afford them the opportunity to gain practical experience. Student interns represent clinic clients in administrative proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service and in judicial proceedings before the United States Tax Court.
Students also provide community outreach and education regarding tax obligations and benefits to persons with limited English, especially during tax season.
