Tim is top notch. It was our first time here. He took our music request and played Elvis. He definitely made us feel like we were at a friends house. The food is wonderful. Best sauce I’ve ever had. Seasoned to perfection. Tim even gave us taste of banana pudding. Delicious!
Took a drive out to Mansfield today to check this place out. It was on my Facebook as a recommendation. The business has been open around a year. Met Tim Feagin the owner, he is a Navy Veteran which is a plus. The food is based on his mom’s Alabama background. Inside there are a few tables and some very neat pictures hanging on the walls of past musical greats. For me background music is everything. Smooth jazz plays and provides a cool atmosphere. On to the food. Ordered the BBQ Rib tips, greens, baked beans, potato salad and peach cobbler. The rib tips were nice and tender with a nice smooth homemade sauce that has a touch of sweetness to it. Put it in a cup and I could drink it. The greens had chunks of pork in it and had the nice fresh taste. The potato salad was a mix of mustard and mayonnaise with celery, onion, red pepper and some paprika on top, it had the slightest sweetness to it. Some of the best I’ve tasted. Then there were the baked beans. These were rocking, kind of sweet with some type of maybe smoky flavor, give me a quart of them and they would disappear in minutes. On to the dessert, the peaches were in a nice sauce that was super tasty with the crust being nice and tender. Another thing I could eat all day. They have pizza on the menu and a number of fresh subs. Definitely a place you need to visit. Don’t miss out!!!
Best BBQ I've ever had in a restaurant. The pulled chicken was incredible. The best potatoe salad I ve ever had. The ribs and rib tips were very very good. Dontt forget to get some peach cobbler best in Ohio
Had an issue with food first time, they remade it the next day and it was amazing! Mac and Cheese is so good! , Gumbo is tasty and peach cobbler delicious and fried okra was cooked perfectly!
We live just around the corner from this place. We used to be right down the street. Still just as good as the first time I went. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. The owner Tim has been so kind and generous every time we're there. We will definitely be stopping back by soon. From the pizza all the way down you definitely get your fill of great food.
Tim, the owner is very kind. He serves a kick butt Seafood Gumbo and delicious peach Cobbler. YummyFood: 5/5
Absolutely top of the line! We are out of town staying for the weekend and ate here for dinner. We might have to make the hour and a half trip back just to eat here. It's a small little diner but the food and the service were superb. Tim was very friendly and accommodating. The food tasted like the best family barbecue I've ever been to.
Our first visit, they are about a year into business and a truly wonderful experience to enjoy. The food was exemplary, incredible beef ribs. My black eyed peas can't compare to theirs, exceptional flavor. Our next visit will include the turkey ribs, my wife and I listened as customers raved about them. I would give Good Brotha's more than five stars if I could. A very clean establishment, the staff is well trained and quite knowledgeable of every thing in the restaurant. The owner greeted us and he values his customer base very much and loves to meet his new customers. Quite possibly the finest down home country style meal I've had. Thank you very much.
The food is very very good. The facility is very clean. The atmosphere is the absolute best. This establishment should go into the dinner club business. Vegetarian options: Southern style veggies is what they make and they are delicious. Kid-friendliness: Management was very respectful to our family dining. Real friendly. Parking: Most people order their food to go and so if their busy you you shouldn't have a problem. Wheelchair accessibility: Nice long smooth ramp for entrance to all people.
My boyfriend and I love this place. Very good food and very nice couple that run the place.
