A decent cafe to grab a quick breakfast in Mammoth Lakes. We ordered Southwest Scramble & Eggs Florentine, among these two I would definitely rate the Eggs Florentine a hight number than the scramble. The Eggs Florentine with two poaches eggs on the english muffin was amazing. The sauce on it was rich and yummy in taste. The crispy crunchy muffin at the bottom of poached eggs and the delicious flavors of the sauces along with the perfectly cooked poaches eggs was a perfect combination. I would try this dish if at good life cafe. The Southwest Scramble was okay , and had a lot better than this other cafes. The drawback was that the scramble was a little bit on the drier side , topping of the scramble with some sauce would definitely make it more good. The hash-brown on the side of the scramble was not great either. The atmosphere up this place was a little bit disturbed when we visited as there was a customer who was having an argument with the manager and it really gave a very negative vibe to this place, which made me a little bit hesitant if or not to visit this place. However , I tried to be positive and visited this place looking at over 1000 reviews with a rating of 4.3 , which other cafes or breakfast places lacked in Mammoth.
Loved this breakfast so much that we visited on back to back days during our stay in old Mammoth. Service was quick. All breakfast dishes came in good portions. Fruit was served fresh.Food: 5/5
It's alright. If you want an average breakfast at reasonable price, go there. Our servers were nice and gracious.Food: 4/5
Got the Machaca, delicious! Coffee was good as well. Service A1. Will definitely come again when in town.Food: 5/5
Guess employees are still asleep. French toast was dry and over cooked. I told the server on the pic about it and she said ok and took my plate. Didn't even say can I get u another dish instead. Service sucked server was rude and half asleep. She seemed upset I asked for more coffee. Not coming back again. Food isn't good for the price and service. Sad because I had a good experience 3 years ago.
Had a wonderful breakfast this morning. Husband got the Chile verse burrito that was delicious. We also had the combo breakfast with blueberry pancakes, bacon and eggs…it’s enough for two people and they are generous with the portions. I enjoyed my meal here. I had orange juice freshly squeezed! And french toast. My husband had a burger, which he didn't like. I think this place is better suited for breakfast food, I suggest you get something along those lines. We had outstanding service, from a waitress that spoke Spanish too, can't remember her name.
I really like how this place has quickly adapted and embraced a COVID era experience. The staff is super friendly and quickly get things done when requested. The majority of the dishes on the breakfast menu have eggs, so if that’s not for you, get a burger! I ate mine so fast that I didn’t snap a picture of it.
Went for breakfast but only stayed for the coffee. Good coffee and the gentleman who seated us was kind. The server/manager made the atmosphere awkward and toxic. Yelling at an employee over trivial matters and talking herself up to another person. Not the calm breakfast we wanted so left.Atmosphere: 2/5
We enjoyed our meal here. Unfortunately, the espresso machine was broken down when we visited... What is a coffee shop without an espresso machine? I found out the hot cider is delicious! We got breakfast, and the omelette was make quite well. The cafe is tastefully decorated, and the folks are friendly. I would visit again.
