The cashier was very nice. The oder lady that was by the door was very rude. There was many people standing in line to check out. This lady was yelling at customers to stop shopping that they had to stand next to cart while in line. She said it several times to multiple customers and even argued with customers. Very unprofessional and I don't want myself or anyone else deserves to be treated like that. I don't recommend this location! I can't believe that goodwill allowed the employee to yell at multiple customers over and over.
Today I went in as It was coupon day I only shop at goodwill if they are offering some sort of coupon as the prices have increased WAY too much. I found a dress that they had priced at $9.99. $10 is pretty expensive for a USED dress. I looked it over & it had several self-tanning lotion looking stains, & some other unknown stains, so I asked the cashier if they could mark it down. The cashier was pretty short, & said “we won’t do that anymore”. You guys are getting items for FREE. What sense does it make to charge $10 for a stained, used dress? Especially since it will most likely end up in a landfill instead of you making money on it. Goodwill constantly says how they’re “green” & that they do so much to help the environment, this is why you say you’ve eliminated plastic bags, well are you really doing that much to help if a customer is trying to salvage an item but you refuse to take a couple dollars off the price? Even if you would have offered to take $3 off that would be fine. But instead you choose to be greedy. I’ve heard goodwill claim they need to price their items so high to “support the community”, or “their job programs”. Well to that I would say that there are plenty of businesses who Do not receive their items 100% free, yet they still are able to profit well AND support the community. Price the items according to their quality at the very least. If you’re going to price things so high whatever, but at least look over the items before you do so. If a customer finds something clearly wrong with the item, there is no reason you can’t mark it down.
I absolutely love shopping here. It's one of my favorite stores. Good prices, good selection of items. It's organized well enough I can filter through the clothes in my sizes without feeling fatigue or overwhelmed as I may thrifting in other stores because it's jammed pack and everything is thrown all haphazard on the racks lol. This one is well-maintained and has nice changing rooms and a kind staff. Everything I've bought there has smelled clean or washed, which I do at home anyway but it just goes to say that even though you may be buying used items, they're still good quality. Overall, great place to shop and save money. Especially if you have younger kiddos that are growing out of their clothes all the time.
Way too expensive nowadays. I used to shop three to four times a week. Now once a month. $2.99 for a used coffee mug. Things that are normally a $1 at the Dollar store are marked $2.99-3.99. The clothes I can understand but every day household items and home decor, games? I am saddened to see it at the bottom of my list for Thrift stores.
Love it always find awesome stuff for a ok price, wish the store was bigger though , amazing finds in this store , just wished the prices weren't so high on items that were donated!!!
I do like to shop here but all the nice stuff everyone donates gets shipped to the auction house, while you can find great deal some of it is overpriced. People have been friendly and helpful though.
Good place to shop but prices are way to high. Can get brand new items for a dollar or two more.
They are doing a 'soft opening' at this time. Serving 10 customers only each hour. Each customer has to go online prior to shopping and get a 'ticket' for their time slot selected. The store is extra clean at this time, but they are always tidy and well organized. All of the people who work there are ALWAYS friendly and helpful.
I always like stopping at Goodwill. It's amazing what you can find here. Today, I got a slide projector carousel, one of those thermometer, hydrometer and barometer things, a set of sheets for my bed, a utensil holder, and a foot care kit which I bought just for the locking case. All of this for $21.53. Awesome!
Over priced on most items. I know a few people who used to work there, employees are allowed to pick over donations first.
