Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties is a private, nonprofit corporation that provides vocational and educational opportunities for people to improve their work skills and enhance their economic independence.
Our services are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Goodwill is funded primarily through the collection and resale of donated goods at our retail stores located throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. We believe in the inherent value of work and the concept that people deserve the opportunity to reach their maximum potential and the highest level of self-sufficiency.
We envision a world where people with disabilities and other barriers to employment have the opportunity to reach their highest economic potential. We believe that every individual has value and that by recognizing that value, we can help them find their place in the community. In order to make this belief a reality, Goodwill will strive to position itself as the recognized provider of vocational services. We will continue to work toward an enlightened understanding and acceptance of people with barriers to employment in our community.
