I have been to many many goodwills. I always take my items off the hangers and either hang them on the fitting room put back rack, or on the end near the fitting room if I don’t see a rack for the fitting room items. I do this to help the cashier not have to remove all the hangers. Most goodwills thank me, but I was approached by an employee and she told me I needed to take my hangers up to the front of the store. I’ve never been told in a store I needed to do anything like this especially goodwill. If this is a practice you train, you may want to rethink. I’ll never step foot in this store again. Don’t embarrass your customers who are trying to help, just do you job and put the 6 hangers where you know they are supposed to go.
Pricing is all over the place. They rarely go by the standardized pricing and like to slap those little price stickers on everything. They were selling a pickle jar, an empty freaking pickle jar for $3 the other day. Dollar Tree items for $2 and $3. If the employees can research items to know their value for mark up it seems like they'd know that anything with the "Greenbriar International" logo is Dollar Tree and can be let go for the standard price for that section. There's often toys that should have been thrown in the trash priced for retail price & don't even get me started about plastic storage containers!!! At no point should a Van's shoe that someone else wore be priced at $20 a pair. People are buying stuff at the Goodwill because they can't afford retail but this corporation doesn't care about that. They get their free labor through community service hours and make a fortune off of the poor!
Good prices and for a Goodwill they really keep a clean store.
I love Thomasville Goodwill always find something staff's always friendly and their prices are not as crazy as other Goodwills
Great clothes! The people that work there are really nice. I go here alot! The new store clerk that I haven't seen before was super nice! He's very informative.
Doesn’t look like much from the street but on the inside this Goodwill is . The employees are friendly, it’s clean, it’s organized, and you can’t beat the prices! Keep it up
Very good. Great costumer service & a nice variety of options!
My wife who’s 30 weeks pregnant was not only harassed and screamed at by 3 employees of this store, but also threatened with trespassing charges for not wearing a useless face diaper. This is the only store in all of Thomasville suddenly requiring and harassing shoppers about masks. She shops there regularly never being required to wear one..this company operates off donations which we do regularly but never again. Absolutely worse experience, you can not force someone to wear a mask period, especially someone with medical problems as the cashier mentioned she was FORCED to wear one even with a doctor telling her not to! Goodwill you are threatening the lives of your employees and harassing customers, no more!
If I could give no stars I would. This establishment is a disgrace. Two employees literally tracked me down almost 30 weeks pregnant to badger me saying I have to wear a mask. I’ve been advised by my dr to not wear one. It’s been over 700 days 2 years and I’m tired of the discrimination against others that CHOOSE to make a CHOICE. THIS IS AMERICA NOT CHINA. There is no law stating that masks have to be worn. If the current employees and this establishment treats people like this?? This is a way to have your business shutdown. I am disgusted. Disappointed. And enraged that this is how you treat repeat customers. I will be emailing all that is in the chain of command all the way to corporate. On all of my platforms I will educate others on how you treat customers. As an American I deserve an apology and to not have to go through this AGAIN. AND this is not a business. This is a unwelcoming, judge mental establishment. Starbucks learned the hard way so I guess you guys are next.
Great store all around. Lots of good quality clothes to choose from. Plenty of books and movies and a decent selection of electronics and toys. Friendly staff as well
