In 1999 two lifetime friends launched the dream and vision of a dinner-house that would revisit the day of owner-operated restaurants. Conceptually the foundations would be – food made fresh from scratch daily, variety and value in a menu centered around the unique style of closed-pit cooking, a team-oriented style of service based on genuineness and sincerely caring, and an environment conducive to family and friends, good conversations and the enjoyment of life.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We shared the ultimate nachos, we did half Ranchero chicken and half chili beef, I think the chili beef was my favorite flavor on the nachos. The nachos filled us up so we only had a few bites of our plates before boxing them up to take home but they were both so delicious. My husband got the BBQ brisket with fries and Mac n cheese. I got the smoked prime rib philly sandwich with beans, the prime rib could have been a bit more tender but that was my only complaint with the meal. Very flavorful and filling. Worth the money we paid
Pretty great barbeque place. The service was nice. The appetizers were delicious and fed our group of five pretty well. I was a little surprised because the protein portion of the entree was smaller than I expected, but I didn't go hungry so I'm happy. Came here on a Friday night and there was only a 10 minute wait time. We were able to get our drinks early. The margaritas were only $8 and it was so good! I got the brisket sandwich. The brisket was tender and amazing!! We’ll definitely be coming back!
Wonderful food! The chicken fried steak is hand dipped, the steak is seasoned well, and the bbq pulled pork was to die for. It had a fantastic smoky barbecue taste! If you don't want dinner, they also have lunch specials.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Great FOOD and great value for the money. We were a family of 4 and got the mixed platter with different meats and sides and it was delicious and we took home 3 leftover boxes. Oh, and the onion rings were huge and you should consider the smaller order. Great value for the $ and wonderful looking inside.
Goodwood is such a great place to eat. They offer a nice variety of items. The food was fresh. The portions were big. And the service was great. Overall, this restaurant is worth trying.Food: 5/5
It was great food, great service. They did a great job we enjoyed our stay. The one thing I did not like is there waiting area is small so you either wait in by the host stand or by the front doors where everyone is walking in and out it was cold outside. It was kinda a let down there but everything else was great. Wheelchair accessibility: The whole side walk is wheelchair accessible. They also have alot of handicap parking.
We were seated right away, even though the place was packed, and our server was very attentive. The food was delicious, we had the Family Style meal, and we all left very full and very happy with leftovers galore. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Goodwood Barbecue Company is a wonderful place to eat for any occasion. I must say, the onion rings are by far the best onion rings I have ever had in my life!!! Lots of yummy options for any age. The service was attentive and friendly. But seriously, THE ONION RINGS!
Such great BBQ. Both times I've been this has been really a great find! My husband and I both love really good barbecue, and since Joe Morley's has closed : we were hoping to find another great place and this is definitely great. I absolutely love their mac and cheese. My husband got the salmon and it was cooked perfectly--not too dry. The only thing that I am not a fan of is serving some form of frosting with their sweet potato fries. I would much rather have had a Chipotle fry sauce or even the option.
