I work down the street from this bar. Service had major issues: the bouncer gave attitude for out-of-state IDs, a beer cask ran out and the order was ignored by the bartender, and food took quite a while to come out from the kitchen. But the space has a good vibe and layout and the bison burger was delicious.
When it comes to being the best bar in Scottsdale, Goodwood Tavern takes the spot. Great food, amazing vibe, and first class hospitality. Trevor, Jason, Nina, and the entire team make this a must visit spot when visiting Scottsdale or the Phoenix area. Parking: Free parking lot across the street.
This is a nice spot for a drink and some good food. Casual fun with pool and darts, yet a nice selection of mixed drinks especially if you are into bourbon. It’s pretty dimly lit at night, but that creates a cozy vibe. VictorB
Visited 8/30, I travel to Scottsdale quite a bit for work, and have been here before and loved it! However was very disappointed this time around. The two female bartenders seemed more interested in having fun with the obnoxious drunk males and being on their cell phones more than serving other patrons. I waited about 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge my existence, I chatted with a couple next to me who were waiting quite some time as well, and the bar was no where near as busy as I usually see it. I ordered a Gin and tonic, and is the first time I’ve been disappointed in it anywhere I have gone. Overheard bartend ask the couple next to me if they had paid their tab, after I saw them put cash down and the other bartender who didn’t serve them pick it up, it was pretty unreal to see how disorganized and unprofessional they were being, especially after having such great experiences there in the past. The Food however did come out pretty quick and was amazing, so kudos to the kitchen for being so prompt. They didn’t lose my business but might reconsider stepping foot in there if the same two bartenders are on shift.
Strong drinks. A lil pricey but strong.. nice staff. They let me store my leftovers at the door while i drink.Food: 5/5
I myself order out I'd love to go in there but, unfortunately I work 7 nights per week so I order delivery. But, your food is amazing. I love the many options to add and delete items .. and I'm an excellent cook. So therefore I spoiled taste buds . It's hard to find a restaurant that matches up to me.. you guys are great love your food ... Thx
We had a reservation here and they completely forgot about it. We showed up and there wasn't any tables for us so we had to change plans last minute which was less than ideal at 7pm on a Friday night. The bar seemed pretty trashy so glad we didn't eat here.Service: 1/5
Went here for the evening on Labor Day while in town visiting. The DJ for the night was fantastic! The atmosphere was awesome! Didn’t have any issues with getting drinks at the barService: 4/5
Disappointed, based on reviews the food should’ve been good. All of the fried food chicken sliders, cheese curds and chicken strips came out with a dark brown, burnt breading. Half of the cheese curds came with no cheese but instead filled with dirty tasting oil. Burger and fries were the only decent thing we ordered. Was really hoping to add this onto our list.
Everything was great for a late night only thing open near our hotel...food was good, chicken tenders are reallygreat, they arent lying...I'd go there again, looks like a fun place to day drink. It's really loud, so take that for whatever, and again, it was also late night.Food: 5/5
