This is my usual stop every Christmas for perfumes. I spend upwards of $500. Understaffed. Annoying as hell waiting on someone to display the product. Men's department leaves a lot to be desired. It would be so easy to offer a better experience than Walmart, but they fail to do that.
I am not a regular Goody’s costumer however on occasions I do stop in especially when Estee’ Lauder is having one of their sells. I shopped there more when my kids were smaller than I do now. My experience yesterday was a not the worst experience I have ever had but it was bad enough. I went in the store yesterday basically to purchase Estée Lauder foundation. There were several shoppers in store but no sells associate at the make up counters. I waited patiently for an associate to come over about 10 minutes while waiting I couldn’t help but notice how cluttered and disorganized the make up area was. There was boxes and bags everywhere. To the point the associate seemed to struggle to get to the display the get the items I was purchasing and then was very crammed trying to ring up my purchase. I was a little disappointed that I was not given an option of my free gift either. After spending $70 on 2 items I would at least like to have the option of picking from the two free gifts being offered right now with a $35.00 or more purchase. And of course I receive the gift that I did not prefer. While waiting for me my teenage daughter decided to look around and see if there was anything I the store she might like. On the table was a sign saying 25% off Addias items. Both items she picked were Addias. We proceeded to the check out where again we waited in line for a good 10 plus minutes trying to get checked out. I was the 2nd person in line. The lady in front of me kept going back picking out more items having the cashier ring it up then going back to get another item. To me this is just rude of 1 on the customer who expects everyone else in line to wait on them to do additional shopping and 2-rude of the cashier to let this happen why not sit that ladies stuff to the side and ring up other customers in line ready so your line isn’t backed way up like it was. I finally get to the front of the line. Cashier seems nice and friendly then once I say I am not interested in applying for a Goody’s card her attitude changes. I DO NOT LIKE CREDIT CARDS so why be rude because I will not apply. Same attitude change happened when the friend I was shopping with also checked out. No call for this. When she rang up my items the discount did not appear. I asked about the discount and told the lady there was a sign on their Addias display stating Addias 25% off. She said no there isn’t. These are not on sale. Which ticked me off. I went ahead purchased the items at full price as they were for my daughter. Went over picked up the sign on the display and took it and my purchase to another associate. And asked her why if the sign read as it was were my items not 25% off. She was awesome. She looked at the sign looked at my purchase. Agreed when though the computers did not ring up the correct amount that they had to stand by the advertised display. She apologized for the inconvenience and Gave me the 25% back. Which was $27.00. Not just a few cents.. If this person had not been as nice as she was and the associate that helped at the make up counter was not as nice as she was I can honestly say I would never go back and the star rating would be a 1 vs a 3. The impression you give your customers is what keeps them coming back. Customers coming back is what pays your pay check.
I was visiting from out of town and had forgotten my make up. I stopped by hoping they could do my make up before an event. The girl working the Cliniqie counter was wonderful. She did a great job with my make up, and we had great conversation.
This is one of those stores that marks everything up 1000% and always has sales going on so you think you're getting a deal. They're going out of business and the prices are fair at best. Don't waste your time here.
I didn't even know this store still existed. And I was able to find good clearance prices and I went online and found an even better coupon. Great deals.
Great place to get all of your beauty creams. Good selection and certified women that know what they're doing and can get you what you need for any facial or age problems that get you down. V;
HUGE sale goes my on, but you can tell that some of the item prices were spiked waay up to accommodate . $88 dollars for a dog food bucket? I don't think so bud.
I am thankful for all the coupons that help me buy good quality clothing at a fair price. Also liked helpful salesperson Kim.
Fantastic prices on name brands with a sale going on today. This chain of Stage stores is a great place to get bargains.
Super nice. This place has all the high end dress clothes but has some good deals with coupons and Mark downs.
