The selection is always great. The staff is friendly and the prices are really reasonable. One of our favorite places to shop. They have one of the only Big & Tall sections for men. When you don't want to deal with the big box stores- and you want to get a real bargain for anything. From household goods to apparel to toys, Gordmans has it.
Originally I bought a coat for my son from another store. I had to return it the same day because it was too small. They had no more available at that location so I headed to their other site... Jihad to pass Gotdmans so I decided to take that money and go here instead. Very pleased to get 2 coats for the price of the One coat from the other store!!!! Great variety and awesome deals!!! Going to go back for Holiday shopping!
Always great deals and the cutest stuff. Really love their home decorating selection. Often go for cheap good quality jeans and coats.
Great housewares section with unique finds at reasonable prices. Nice pet furniture selection too! Something for everyone can be found at this store.
Hit or miss with selection and staff. As usual the selection can vary wildly but that is the nature of the discount game. The staff has been either incredibly helpful or has no interest in you even ignores you at the checkout. So hope for a day for selection and staff if you go.
I was surprised to see that someone else complained about the quality of the clothing on here because most of their clothing are popular name brands, but are lower prices than what you would find at the mall. They always have tons of variety and awesome deals on clearance. They give you coupons every time you shop there for your next visit which also keeps me coming back!
This store has gone down hill so fast. I used to be able to find so many good things. Now im luck if i can walk out with even one thing. Very disappointed. This used to be my favorite store.
I always enjoy shopping at Gordmans. I will say that all of the jeans had rips and weird patterns so I was unable to pourchase any as I have to wear rip free jeans at work. I did purchase some topos and leggings. I got a good deal on socks 10 pairs for $5.99. I wish I could see how much my total was coming to as it was being rung up to verify prices. Sometimes the tags on clearance items don't ring in correctly. I did not have to wait in a long line and I am happy with my purchases.
Not really thrilled with Gordman's as a full line department store. I felt I wasted my time and would have been better off going to Walmart or Kmart and found the same or better selection of clothes. Plus the layout made me feel like I was at Goodwill with long racks after long racks of cheap clothes! And their shoes department was a disappointment especially in the men's area which was very limited in styles, quantity, and quality. Maybe I got there after a big rush but you would think it wouldn't happen in one day! Especially on a weekday and restocking would already be taking place! If I sound too critical maybe I expected more from Gordman's according to their TV advertising! The way I see it they should rename the stores "Gordman's Warehouse Discount".
I painting these butterflies for mom 90 birthday party. I needed 3 more. Found Non quad cities enough to complete at Coralville dollar tree drove hour.
