Gordon Food Service Store

Wow! One of the best GFS stores I’ve been in, much better than my home store. Lots of variety and well stocked. Clerks were very responsive to questions and quickly helped us get in and out.

I actually love coming to this store for all the little extras we always need for work. The staff is always so helpful and they always have a smile on their faces.

Helpful employees, easy access, great products at reasonable prices.

Always clean has everything you would need food and kitchen wise

I love shopping at GFS. They have special sizes that can't be bought from the regular grocery chains. All of their food is restaurant quality at, or less than chain store prices. I have been a regular shopper at GFS for several years! It is a great place to shop if you are planning a party of any size and kind.

Great selection of food. Prices are a little high. We bought a "processed roast beef." It was terrible! The outside of it was literally black. The inside consisted of a rubbery, bologna like material. We cooked it according to instructions. It barely reached an edible cooking temp. We tried frying it, still not good. For $45 I thought this could be a good roast. Processed is the key word and clue that this what you'll get. I would urge GFS to remove this product from their stores.

Kort, the new store manager, is helpful and professional. GFS has a reputation of only stocking only large sizes of generic products. If the general public knew what was really in the store and how anyone can shop there no membership needed, I feel the store would be busy all day long! Hidden gem.

Here are the pro's and cons. Pro, Very nice and very large and very well stocked. Pro, the staff is very attentive and helpful. Pro, You get boxes to store your purchases when you exit the store, which is a plus. They have everything I needed,. Con, they were out of the wings I really like, no biggie. Which is the Perdue Chicken wings. Close to me. A bit high in price range. The hot dogs are awesome.

The staff was attentive, shelves were well organized. Some. products were out of stock either due to supply chain issues or they have not been restocked. They were stocking the day I was there. Prices were OK, I find for some items going to an alternative place would be if benefit. Being able to purchase larger sizes os a nice option.
