This was in ruins during my childhood and is now a beautiful historic site. The Gouldsboro Historical Society has restored the entire train station to it's former glory and curated a wonderful little museum full of history of the ice harvesting business and beginnings of the town. Lots of interesting old artifacts and neat stuff to look at. There is a gift shop with vintage postcards and various memorabilia. They also rent the back space for events and there is a covered pavilion to enjoy the scenery of Gouldsboro lake they used to harvest the ice from. Ice cream socials, paint and sips and other fun events happen here. Follow them on Facebook to see what's happening!
The Heritage Overlook is very close to the train station with a park like sitting area. The train station has a museum inside and rental party rooms.
Nice restoration . Rentals of train station are available for special occasions such as art class where students painted the picture below.

Stopped here as part of an excursion from Steamtown. Very nice piece of history, has a small museum with some artifacts from the railroad and ice making industry from the 1800s. Also a small pavilion in the back. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and interested in local history.
Held my dad's Memorial Service there on Saturday. Beautiful place and very friendly staff. They were very helpful. The museum at the front is very nice too.
