What can I say. We wanted an early dinner and the guy at the hotel recommended this place. We thought being a Tuesday afternoon it would be quiet, it was actually really busy. We soon found why. It may not be much to look at from the outside, but the food is fantastic. I am someone who likes quality. I was expecting something basic here, but everything is home made. The bread was fresh from the oven, the soup was excellent and the girls loved the fish dishes they had. I would certainly recommend this place. If you are ever in Presque Isle, this is where to eat.
While the staff is amazing, the food is sub-par. The fried food is just tons of flour, no seasoning at all. The fried class are mushy and taste like they still have the poo in them. The Haddock fish and scallops are fresh but not seasoned. The locals are very sweet and love this place. I have no desire to go back. Food: 1/5
The hostess seated us quickly and our waitress did not make us wait long. Our food came out very fast. My daughter ordered a triple stack chocolate chip pancakes with real maple syrup and she says they are delicious. I ordered two eggs over easy with corned beef hash and hollandaise sauce. Corned beef hash was actually made with fresh corned beef in house which is a shock. It was incredible. Definitely eat here if you are passing by Presque Isle. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and parking
We enjoyed very good food here. Blueberry beet salad, maple chicken poutine, and fried pickles are pictured. All very good. Have to say that the poutine is just a bit too sweet. But it is an appetizer and not meant as a meal. The wait staff served us with a smile and all were very friendly. I would definitely go back.
Great place to eat in this small town! Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Oh & dessert! The staff was super friendly and the food was really good & always hot. We had a large group 6 or more every time we went & they always were great. If you need gluten free or have dietary restrictions they have a binder that lists everything each recipe has in it. That was really helpful for my wife! The chocolate cream pies and other desserts were also really good!
Great place to eat. Appetizers are great. The Lobster Roll is phenomenal. The sauce that comes the onion rings can be used for everything! It's such a great sauce. I even request it for breakfast to go with my homefries. Kid-friendliness: They have a nice kids menu.
The truck delivering took up most of the back parking lot to the point you couldn't get around the building. Was greeted quickly by two smiling staff members and was seated in less than 30 seconds. The waitress was very friendly, quick, and attentive. Coffee came nice and hot with refrigerated creamer unlimited refills too! The food came out super quick but was hot and cooked to order and correct : Experience was wonderful. Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu, drink, and dessert choices. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spots and ramp into the business.
If forgot to take pictures sure to having the kids under 5 years old and that the food was so delicious I couldn't stop. Came in July 3 around 130 pm. We had maple drizzled fried cheese curds for appetizer. I had a lobster roll and bisque combo, husband had the Marco's mountain with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Kids shared a grilled cheese and crinkle cut fries. Every morsel was eaten! We're going to have dessert, but I wanted to remember to write a review. The bisque had 4 or 5 large claws in it and the roll was fresh without any filler or mayo or anything to take away from the lobsters natural taste. Lovely experience! They were busy a couple days ago at lunch time, too. Very popular spot around here I think. We're from out of state visiting in our camper.
The cake was so unbelievable. Massive piece of cake for $8. So so so good. The food was alright, a but expensive for how I thought it was. But the cake made up for everything. Got the maple fried chicken this time. Was quite wonderful. The cake as always is great.
We had an amazing lunch, lobster roll was fresh and spectacular. Bourbon steak tips was delightful. The dessert menu is gigantic and we tried the Sundae and bread pudding both were good. Highly recommend the whip cream topping made from scratch very thick and tasty.
