I met with Dr. Wyll Everett this afternoon. He was very patient and generous with his time. His bedside manner was much appreciated. It was nice to work with a doctor with that level of empathy.
I went to Grace Cottage Emergency room yesterday for first time. It was a pleasant surprise. I was giving short infusion and they were very caring. Hard to find sometimes, I thank Mark and another female nurse, didn't catch her name for everything.
I come to the hospital 3x a week for IV infusions. I transferred from BMH to here because my GP joined Grace Cottage. I have been welcomed with open arms and fit in. I have somewhat complex medical needs and it feels like I'm seen as an individual, a person, and my quality of life matters. Grace Cottage is a fantastic hospital! The nurses care, they are very respectful, the receptionists are wonderful, warm, and remember you. As someone who's is transgender, they are try so hard to get it right, and it's not perfect but it's 10x better than any other hospital I've been to.
Getting prescriptions refilled is a nightmare. A rural hospital can be great in some instances but sometimes its just a joke. If dr's there put you on meds, they should respond to the pharmacy when they refill them for patients. Some day you're going to kill someone by not listening to your prescription re-fill messages.
My son transferred here from Just So Pediatrics when it closed. We love it just as much as JSP. Cynthia is wonderful, the receptionist is VERY nice and welcoming and the nurse is magnificent!, she is super on top of things. I would highly recommend them!
We feel incredibly lucky to have this wonderful hospital serving our little region of Vermont. The doctors, nurses, and staff are about the friendliest, happiest, and most skilled and professional one could ever hope for. The pediatrician, Dr. Elizabeth Linder, and her nurse Holly, take excellent care of our two young daughters. The physicians are top-notch, and the ER team is incredible. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this uniquely awesome hospital and family health clinic.
My prescription is with their pharmacy. I couldn't get there in time to get my refill. Now I'm out and they won't give me 1 pill to get me through unless I do a whole ER visit. So my blood pressure continues to rise until I need to be hospitalized just to get 1 pill. Thanks grace cottage.
Fantastic experience accessing their emergency department. Every staff member was kind, compassionate and took their time. Doctor was personable, knowledgeable and walked me through everything step by step.
I arrived for check-in at 7:50 am for an 8am appointment. At 7:55 am I was greeted by a nurse who took my vital signs. At 8am I was discussing my medical history with my new provider. He took time to discuss my current issues, then he conducted my examination. I was done in 35 minutes. A very good experience.
They do not treat their patients with dignity and respect. If you find yourself prescribed a controlled substance by your doctor such as anti anxiety medication or even cough preparations they will withhold your medication if you do not agree to pee in a cup in front of one of their staff members even if you have no history of or any indication of abusing any drugs. This is true even of the elderly.
