Being part of 4 funerals in the past year, I have to say that Graham stands well above the rest. My grandmother looked so peaceful and content in her casket; I kept expecting her to sit up and talk to me. I hear that it is difficult to "get the mouth right" on the deceased, but I thought the Graham team did a great job. On our first visit, Scott was professional yet compassionate; we felt like the most important family in the world. Even though he was extremely busy, he took time to explain the process, answer our questions, and guide us through the many decisions to be made. We were never rushed. If most companies in the US had such customer service, our country could be headed toward healing! Thanks, Scott and crew, for your amazing dedication and service. I highly recommend this funeral home to anyone in the Hampton Roads area.
I am writing to thank you for all of your efforts in regard to my Father's services. I realize that it is your business to conduct the service, but I believe you went well beyond the typical expectation for such an event including pricing. After all we had just buried one family member a week ago and the same service arrangements were much more costly with less than the professionalism. I was impressed by the organization of your operations and the way you made every accommodation to make the family comfortable at such a difficult time. I was more impressed by the personalized treatment that you display in the way you recognize the family members by their names and took extra time to ever make certain that the grandchildren were set at ease. Scott, you certainly were an angel of compassion at a time when a physically and mentally exhausted family was in need of a helping hand. You are definitely a credit to your profession and I would recommend your organization to anyone who should have a need for your service. More importantly, I believe that you are a genuinely good and caring person and I am glad that you were a part of this time in our lives. Thank you again for being there for us.
What a Blessing to have Graham Funeral Home take care of our Loved one's arrangements. Very reasonable..however Family members were very upset, hurt and disappointed when the live cam of the service did not happen as promised..Hopefully this won't happen to another family..This is why I didn't give five stars.
First of all I am an African American, I choose this Funeral Home by the guidance of my spirit because I didn't want to go where all my friends go to. I was so please of the service they provide for my family and myself. My mother looked so beautiful and my family was pleased of her beauty and the catering service that they offered. I would recommend ALL my friends and family to this Funeral Home because they were AWESOME and still checked on my after weeks of my mother homegoing. AGAIN thank you for your family service. Be Blessed.
Very professional kind and compassionate . Ryan our director was awesome in making this a very memorable and made us feel very special .so very personal.thank you for making my dad's celebration of life and memory one to be cherished the rest of family's life. Memories made not Forgotten!
Graham handled our father’s funeral and every aspect of their services exceeded our expectations. The staff were outstanding, and they were very supportive. Duane was the first we met with and he was involved with all the arrangements and services. We would also like to thank Scott, Betty, and Ryan for their support and involvement. Our family is very grateful and thankful for each staff member and for their outstanding service and compassion.
Excellent, kind, caring staff. Parking is free and there are multiple wheelchair-accessible entrances. Bathrooms in the main lobby as well as on the southern side of the building. Seating and acoustics are very comfortable. Again, great quality service.
Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services was the light my family needed when my father William F Clemons passed away unexpectedly on December 8th, 2022. One of their employees Ryan was outstanding, and truly brought a light to an otherwise dark time for my family. Ryan took the time to get to know our father through my siblings, and me. We found Ryan, and my Dad had very similar lives and interests, if only they would have had the chance to meet before his untimely passing. He guided us through the process with such a compassionate, humble, and sincere hand. He went above and beyond for us ensuring everything was handled promptly, with most of my family being from Michigan, he understood the time crunch we had. We had a beautiful service to remember my Dad, one that would have been impossible without Ryan's guidance. Ryan, if you read this please know that without your help, we would have been lost. Thank you for everything you did for us during the time we had the pleasure of working together to remember my Dad.
Graham funeral home, especially Duane were great. They handled my mother and father's arrangements in the last year and a half. We could not have asked for better service. No matter the time of day or night, Duane was there, whether answering phone calls or coming to the house. From the beginning to the end, Duane helped make a hard situation easier for our family. The level of customer service and compassion he shows is beyond outstanding.
Graham served my family with compassion while making funeral arrangements. We were provided extensive information that helped us to make decisions. Graham has several options to view in their facility before making choices. Each aspect of our services were very promptly carried out, exactly as planned. The staff reached out frequently to check on us to see if we needed anything. They also walked us through each part so we knew exactly how the visitation, funeral, and graveside would be carried out. The experience with Graham helped so much to diminish our stress. We are thankful for them!
