Grand Casino Mille Lacs

Rooms are dated but clean. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. TV was small 32 inch for a large room with a king bed. Food was ok, server was nice. Staff was nice throughout our stay. No one was wiping down the games yet they had signs up that they clean and sanitize often. Some machines were dirty/sticky. Security was wearing shirts that were two sizes too big. That may seem insignificant however if you are trying to create a professional, reliable look, it wasn't happening.

Our experience was great as first-timers! Staff at the front desk, friendly security guards willing to answer questions, and the 1991 restaurant exceeded our expectations. The only unfortunate instance was the drink prices were way higher only because there was a concert that we did not attend... Overall very nice vacation!Rooms: 5/5

Came to this casino first time. Had issue with ATM. Transaction went thru but didn't dispense bills. Went into "out of order" right away asking me to see cashier. I waited thinking someone would come to machine but didn't so I tried to find cashier. Another ATM did the same thing not far off. However this is when things went sour. I was treated as if I was scamming them, a criminal. They were rude, asked for ID and my "story" several times. They went to security cameras twice, and each time came back told a different story. No the money never came out, to yes it did come out after I left the machine I was told it can take up to 5 minutes and I'm supposed to not leave the. Machine until money comes.out. I've never heard of ATM delays in waiting for money to dispense out like that. Then I was told money came out and someone took it. Was told I'd have to contact my bank to stop transaction. So sad too bad attitude. I was LIVID. Only after making a scene exploding anger did they say they would use cameras to find who took the money and get back to me. Coming into this particular casino first time, not from the area, and being treated in the manner I was, was inexcusable! I will NEVER hit this casino nor it's chains, nor stay in the hotel. And my experience I've shared all over. Was upset for days, ruined my vacation plans.

The hotel and facility is are incredibly dated. They do not offer any in room dining and the room rates for our suite bordered predatory. My husband had a terrible headache overnight and could not get as much as an advil until 8AM when the gift shop opened. There were several gaming machines on the floor that had technical problems, were broken down or had features or buttons it didn’t work. There is no smoking on the gaming floor except for this tiny room that old slot machines are moved to die. It could be an incredible place if they considered a renovation and better accommodating their smoking customers, it’s a casino.

We had a bit of bad luck on the highway and had to pull over into the parking lot to save ourselves. Officially, we were not even giving business to the casino. But their security checked on us, and the maintenance guy even came out and helped us out of our pickle. Stopped in to use the facilities, and those were nice as well. Hopefully we can stop in soon for a happier visit.

I have stayed at this property several times. Each time the experience was excellent. The staff is awesome and the facilities are clean. Will for sure stay again. The property is very grand looking on the inside. And security is the best you will find outside a diamond rated motel. They have on site security and they great at what they do.

The casino and hotel are always fun. The fact that most food venues are still closed is a constant irritant. I worked at the casino for six years and had a very enjoyable work experience. Many good people both native and white I have noticed fewer jackpots than normal. Hope that changes in the future. Very seldom any trouble but security does next to nothing more than stand around. They are either too old, too young or too fat to do anything. Get the food venues open

Came here for promos and came up 2000 with 100 in Amazon gift cards. Plums was good too and casino had a variety of slot machines to play for how busy it was. Machines can be tight at times but they payed off this time around. Only complaint is that it was super hot and overcrowded inside with little air flow. I had to stay closer to the doors because it was so hot.

0 stars all around. Waiting at plums to order food, cashier was just standing there staring, and another guy comes up and they helped him instead of acknowledge the first person in line, or let me know that the register I was at was closed. Slots never paid out when I was getting bonuses. Worst casino I have ever been to. No open hotel rooms, telling us we could go to Brainard for a room.

The hotel is much nicer than surrounding hotels for 30 miles, but sadly it is showing it's own wear and tear. I found d it comfortable and the room spacious. The casino and reaturants attached are a great plus.
