EPIC PLACE, one of the best library’s I ever been, extra clean, awesome air conditioning, helpful staff, private rooms, nice chairs and sofas, cool books, free paper to take notes, there are even pencils too, headphones to use, nice tables and plugs, usb, a patio, bathroom with all you might need and more, they even have water to refill you bottles.THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Thank you to all the girls that work here they are really nice and smiling all the time!
Love this beautiful library and the pros running it. It’s has lots of study and remote working space in it, and you can block out time to use closed off tutoring or board rooms if you need a space to collaborate with others. It’s a very cozy space with lots of plants and natural light and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
The GEM of Moab; I sit here for hours to focus on work because they have an easy, highly functional printing setup. Also, they have a cute cat named Cosmo. Be sure to buy a shirt adorning his adorable face too!
Really amazing staff and library! We travel to Moab often for races and every once in a while, we need a place with wifi to present for work. Being able to reserve a room at the library for these purposes is really awesome. The staff is incredibly kind and always very welcoming. The cleanest, quietest library I have been to in a long time!
This is one of the finest small libraries I have witnessed in my travels around the USA. The staff is professional and friendly; and have helped me with multiple research projects in finding materials. I am sure these times have not been easy for them during the pandemic with the myriad of problems and differing opinions and realize that once in awhile they must say no due to their constraints. Tom has been especially helpful in finding & ordering papers I needed. Thanks to all the staff for making Moab an even more special place!
For a small town Moab has an incredible library. I did not utilize it much until I had kids and since then I have been amazed over and over again. We’ve suggested a few new books and they got them right away and our son was so excited he was able to advocate for something then see other kids check them out as soon as they came. Miss Adrea is their biggest asset, she’s one of a kind. If you have kids there is story time once a week and it’s fantastic. There’s songs and stories that our son had enjoyed. She did a great job with it during Covid over zoom, but it’s been the best going to Old City Park the past few weeks and sitting among the large cottonwood trees in Moab’s quietest park. It allows the kids space to see each other and to move around safely while it has little car traffic and shade to protect them. Our son thoroughly enjoys Mondays as he knows we’re going to story time. I would highly recommend the library to anyone and if you have kids story time with Miss Adrea is worth making the time and effort to get to. Right now it’s Mondays at 10am at old city park but since schedules change & holidays check with them before going. It’s a great way for kids and parents to meet and they can play afterwards. PS Miss Adrea is also great at picking out books and putting them on hold for you. We wanted dinosaur books but didn’t have a clue which ones to pick. The kids room has so many great choices it is hard to decide. She put a few on hold that are perfect. Thank you Moab library for making our small town even better!
The staff here are amazing! Coleen is one who has been extremely helpful and kind. I wish there was more people like this library staff in the world. Thank you for your help.
What a great library! I'm not a resident so I haven't checked anything out though I have read a lot on-site, and I've noticed that they have books I've never seen elsewhere, but every other week we are in town and we stop in to read, use the computer, and soak up the ambiance. Love that using the computers - even as a guest - is free! Printing is 10¢ a page. The other thing I love is that they have a jigsaw puzzle across from the checkout counter for people to work on. Fun! The puzzles always are very detailed ones that are easy to contribute to in just a few minutes. Awesome library!
I love this place, it has a very wide selection on just about every topic imaginable and has very friendly staff, open access computers for anyone and everyone. I noticed in an earlier comment about how a place like this should be for the people who pay for it which is everyone, especially locals. And how they didn’t like the mask policy. I personally don’t like the masks either but they do do a good job defending themselves, hence why I’ve added this picture
Inside is currently not open to public other than 30m meeting times. Wifi is strong enough to work outside in front and there's one outlet to charge devices. Beautiful library though!
