Our mission is to provide, in a safe manner, fire suppression, fire prevention, heavy rescue, marine rescue, and other related emergency services to the citizens and visitors of Grand Isle and our mutual aid partners in an environment that encourages and recognizes continuous quality improvement by the individual to the greater benefit of the Grand Isle Volunteer Fire Department, the Fire Service in general and the constituency of whom we serve.
