The only thing great about this Hotel is that it's across Disneyland parks. The first night we got to the hotel, the shower drain was clogged, my boyfriend had to unclog it and it was disgusting. Just tells me they don't clean the showers. The beds are uncomfortable, I can feel the bed springs. The mini fridge doesn't keep food completely cold. Carpets are gross. The phone kept ringing randomly and when I answered it hung up. The walls are super thin. We stayed a few nights, our last night there we found a HUGE cockroack in the bathroom. Never staying here again.
This hotel was a 5 minute walk to Disneyland and close by dining options. The parking was a bit challenging for a suburban but we made it work. Do remember to lock your vehicle because it is LA after all and the parking lot is open for anyone to walk into. Our room was good, met our needs for 4 nights. the refrigerator barely kept our food cold; good thing we brought a cooler and they have ice available on the second and first floor. This hotel would benefit from a renovation from carpet to hard wood floors because of the amount of people that visit here; it would be easier to sanitize the floors this way. Nearby activities: Right across the street from Disneyland
We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Legacy. The staff is incredibly helpful and the hotel is a short walk from the park 200 steps to be exact, we counted . The rooms are a little outdated and there was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom sink, but it wasn’t bad enough for us to request a new room. Also, the walls are very thin, we could hear the family in the room next to us, talking at a normal volume. All in all, the hospitality and the proximity to Disneyland outweighed the cons.
Front desk receptionist, except for Moises, he was very helpful, sweet and thorough. The rest, were not friendly at all. They'd get annoyed with any question you ask them. They never answer if you have a request or question when calling them. Great location, but wish they offer some sort of ground transportation. The "short walk" to Disney isn't really a short walk. Not ideal especially after being on your feet for 12 hours. The beds were uncomfortable with the springs poking through. The bathroom sinks had a horrible sewage smell as well. The best thing about this place is the pool, where my two boys had a great time and the roof top hotel where they were very nice and the view to Disney is beautiful. Otherwise, chances of me stay with my family again are very slim.
Definitely a place to stay. It is right across from Disneyland and has the original rooftop bar and restaurant. Can't fault it at all and would always recommend this place for families, couples, singles. Amazing pool and spa and very attentive staff. A must. Rooms: Very big and comfortable.
Perfect spot for a Disney vacation. It's a 5 minute walk to the park gates and the pool is the best I've seen at a hotel, maybe ever, for kids. Only downside was there was no bathroom so we had to go back to the room to do soRooms: 5/5
I've stayed here many times. As far as being a hotel near Disneyland, this is true. Customer service is not so much. Dont you dare leave your car here the day you are supposed to check out because without any notice, they will charge you $60 for parking. You are better off paying $30 at Disneyland even though you already paid this hotel $300 for the night, You can not leave your car here to go to Disneyland. They could have called me to tell me that is not allowed. Since I was across the street, I would have moved it immediately. Instead, they charged my credit card without my consent, and they have lost a customer. There are many other hotels nearby that are just as nice and allow you to leave your car there even if you are checking out that day. We come to Disneyland multiple times every year and always get a hotel even though we live in San Diego. But I will never stay here again since they would not refund me the fee they charged me for parking when I was never made aware of their ridiculous parking fee.
Being right across the street from Disneyland was awesome, but that’s where most of the positives stop. The room we stayed in was nothing like the postings online. The main door was not square to the frame so there were large gaps opening our room to the outside. The bathroom door stuck and did not have a sufficient handle to grab onto so we were unable to close that door all the way unless we wanted to be stuck in there. The bathroom was tiny as well and we killed multiple bugs while staying in the room. The lobby was beautiful but they need to put more of that money into the actual accommodations instead of just the entry.
This place is so close to the Disneyland entrance, and we could see the fireworks show from our room. I would give this hotel 5 stars but when we checked in they gave us a room that wasn't clean and still had trash in it, but the staff was super nice and moved us to a different room. The AC unit was a little too loud, my wife said it sounded like an airplane engine starting up. They were remodeling a few rooms but I never really heard them. But at 6:30am we were woken up by someone using a blower outside our building. At least we didn't have to wait for our alarms to go off for we can make it to rope drop. But beside that, it is a pretty cozy place that is so close to Disney and restaurants at a good price. And great customer service Can't beat it. I will stay here hopefully soon on the next Disney Trip. Walkability: You are literally 5 mins from the Disneyland entrance.this comes in handy when you have toddler
Pretty cool place. Parking is very tight! Rooms were very clean and modern. Quite a few restaurants and basic shopping options nearby. Disneyland Park is only half of a block to the right and a 1/4 mile when you cross the road.. we could see the Disneyland fireworks from the second floor.Rooms: 5/5
