Grandy's Restaurant Irving

We came in the Manager Lucy was very polite, she welcomed us immediately. Yolanda took our order it was correct, and Casey assisted with making our plates. They we're all professional with beautiful smiles on their faces. My daughter had the fried chicken which she stated has AMAZIN crest with a great crunch , and the macaroni was the BOMB. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn it was delicious. It was fairly empty which I don't mind, and the restaurant was clean.

While the breakfast buffet would have been nice. Posting this sign is odd. The 2 on duty on the front line were rude and pushy. At least the food was decent. Grandys sure has fallen. I’m done.

I have always enjoyed eating at Grandy's. They never disappoint me. Glad I found this location opened. Double steak meal always hit the spot!

Finally found a Grandy’s in the area! Such a nostalgic experience as they used to be everywhere when I was a kid. They have a great breakfast selection. Biscuits and gravy, country fried steak, hash browns, bacon. All delicious. The only thing I’m sad we missed is the yeast rolls don’t come out til around 10:30am. The employees at this family-run business are sooo nice and extremely helpful to make your experience the best. After bringing my father here before his flight back to VA, the owner said when he visits again to call ahead, and he will make yeast rolls earlier for him. How sweet is that? We will definitely be back, thank you so much!

We were the only 2 in the restaurant...so.. We had good service, it was quiet and clean. My wife and I have been coming here since the 1980s.... it's been a few years... Sadly the food was a disappointment.

What can I say... It's Grandys! Dearly missed in Houston TX. This was my first stop in Dallas for a meal from DFW. The animated gentleman working the cashier he's originally from Houston elevated this unappreciated food chain experience... Give that man a raise! THANK YOU GRANDYS for keeping the food, formula and prices mostly the same for 30+ years!

I can't believe I found a Grandys!! I thought they were all out of business. The food is good cheap and brought memories.

THIS PLACE SHOULD REALLY TEACH THEIR COOKS HOW TO SEASON FOOD, WHAT FLAVOR IS, AND TO COOK ALL TOGETHER.!!!!! My wife and I were so upset at the biscuits and gravy!!! Way too much gravy and the biscuits were under cooked. That's why they put so much gravy! The sausage that came with the Pancake sticks was so dry and it didn't come how the image was. I only got one and not multiple. I'm gonna slap the person that recommended me to this place to order from.
