This is a great school to attend and I will recommend it to anyone who is searching for the Best Dental Assistant school! You are not treated just as a student there but as family! Ms. Bonnie is an excellent teacher who will teach you everything that you need to know as a dental assistant! She taught us how to be united and to work as a team and she always kept us motivated throughout the entire program! Ms. Lucinda is so good at what she does, that she explained every dental instrument to me so that I can remember each instrument like the back of my hand! The school's coordinator Kristal helped me a lot, by always answering my questions, to making sure that I completed my externship, to even troubleshooting my computer, so that I can have access to the student portal system for the dental program in order to complete my homeworks! When I first started the dental school I was very nervous because I didn’t know anything about the dental field or what was involved. I saw a Instagram post one day from the grapevine dental assistant school to apply and I did! I missed the first class so I missed the material that was gone over but Ms. Bonnie the instructor was very helpful. She offered to meet me at the school during the week to catch me up. She was always there when I needed her rather it be by phone or to meet me somewhere to help me succeed. Ms. Bonnie has faith in all her students. She wants the to succeed so she will help them in anyway that she can. Till this day a year after attending the school I still call her for advice on things. I also made tons of friends and learned so much. You would think in 12 weeks that you would be able to go into an office but I learned more than I thought I would and everyone was willing to help each other. Also kristal is every helpful if you need help finding externships or jobs! I am so happy I attended this school and I love my career as a registered Dental Assistant.
I am so close to graduating and wouldn't have chose an other program to achieve my RDA License. Ms. Bonnie along with Ms. Kaitlyn have been wonderful instructors. I have learned so much and appreciate how dedicated they are! Grapevine Dental Assistant Achool has given me hope and help in my future career at being an awesome dental assistant!
This school and the lead instructor exceeded my expectations. The saying you get what you pay for isn't always negative. I choose GAS after thoroughly researching other programs in the area and to be frank I also choose GAS because it was affordable and a shorter program. You get out of this program what you put into!! If you are considering becoming a Dental Assistant I highly recommend GAS.
I was a tad sceptical taking this class at first since it's only 12 days long but figured I would give it a shot and so glad I did. The thing I loved the most was that the size of the class was small so that the teacher could focus on every one and have more one on one time with you if you're lost. We also did a lot of hands on projects and the teachers would demonstrate multiple times until everyone was confident . Also played games as well. I graduated October 2016 but still remember everything I was taught just because they made learning fun. At the end of the class, you have to take an externship at a real dentist office. I love that they help you find an office especially if you're shy and need help lol and when you graduate, they help you with your resume What looks good/bad to future employers.. and help you find a job. I recommend this class completely if you have no idea what you want to do with your life.
Best DA school. Instructors are there for you thoughtout the week. Ms.Bonny will even ask you to email her your homework before class just to review it. The hands on labs are my fav. If you are looking into changing/ starting a career, this is the place to be.
