Took an hour for most of us to get our food, another 30 minutes for someone to get their chicken sandwich because they over cooked it and way too expensive for what it is. The waitress apologized and was nice to us, but because of the way the kitchen is managed I don’t expect I’ll come back any time soon.
My wife and I live close to the restaurant but have never checked it out. We decided to check it out on our anniversary. We ordered fish tacos and steak, the fish tacos and accompanying salad were great and the steak was done to my liking, however, and the only complaint which I didnt even make, the garlic mashed potatoes weren't great. As a side note, this place has a reputation for phenomenal fries and with that said I broke my own rule of not getting what a place is known for. Get the steak, get the fish tacos and get the fries. Oh and get the coffee its very good.
I travel a lot just to find some special contraptions like they have here. I've only had burgers here and I would guess, it's they're speciality. I had the blueberry bbq sauce burger the first time and the freakshow the second... Let me tell you both were in a league of there own! Yum yum YUM!
We ordered our food and waited an hour, before they finally came out to tell us they overcooked our food and needed to start over. In total waited an hour and a half for mediocre food. At least the waitress was nice.
My waitress was excellent and the service was prompt. The food was delicious and the menu has good selection.
We were passing through the area and stayed in Saint John overnight. We read about this place on Yelp and thought we'd give it a try. It was a longer drive than expected, but that was our choice to make. We both ordered fish & chips since it was all you can eat on a Friday night. However, the first portion was so generous that we did not need any more. The quality was only so so. Not bad, but not great either. It filled our bellies at a modest price, so no complaints ... but we were not blown away either. The server was kind and attentive but did not know much about the beers. She just gave us a chart to pick from. So ... if you wasn't someplace just to relax and grab a bite, then this will do the job.
Buddy and I stopped in on the way home from a hike. It was Friday and the special was all-you-can-eat fish n chips. Couldn't pass that up. We were greeted by a lovely server who sat us and took our order. Less than three minutes later we had our meals...it was delicious. Two generous pieces of fish with a light, crispy batter and piping hot fries right out of the fryer. Fortunately, this establishment also includes coleslaw, tartar sauce and a lemon wedge Not all places do. We sheepishly ordered seconds, which was again served minutes later. All that for $13.99....one of the best values in the Saint John area. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.
We had the Freak Show burger !! OMG this was freaking delicious and oh so filling!! Definitely a must try for anyone who has not tried it yet!!
We went for all you can eat fish and chips. We arrived at 5:45. Placed our order at 6 and was told they were only able to give 2 pieces of fish as they were sold out, so no longer all you can eat. I ordered the pasta which was ok but very dry. The mushrooms were very tasty but within a few minutes of being dropped at the table, congealed due to the lack of sauce.
Went there for my Father's day dinner first time order the Fish and Chips and I have to say that it was the best I have ever eaten
